Best and worst: What's going on in your world?

How’s your week been?

TGIF! TGIF! Thank God It’s Friday!!

For those who aren’t familiar with this post – Best and Worst is where we all come together to share our defining moments of the week. I’ll go first, because I’ve been waiting three whole years to share this…

Yep, that’s right, I made it through. I spent the last two weeks as the library’s most frequent visitor (yes, I know, an accomplishment in itself).

I furiously typed through two major 2000 word+ essays as well as attending group meetings for my third final, and now look at me: free as a bird! All the time in the world and not a care in the world.

Time to do important real life things like.. maybe reading a book or baking. I can wake up whenever I want and I can go out whenever I want (hmm is it just me or does this uni-free life sound a lot like uni life…?)

What the heck am I supposed to do with myself now? I’m feeling a bit like Brennan Huff from Step Brothers right about now: I need someone to show me how I can be a grown-up.

Do I carry my Bachelor degree around? What do you do with your hair? What happens if there’s inclement weather?!? There’s just too much to learn about being an adult that uni really doesn’t prepare you for. I still rely on my iPhone to autocorrect my incoherent text messages – how am I supposed to go out and write a job application? Fortunately for me, I’ve lived out of home for my uni studies so I’m sort of, kind of half way to being a fully-fledged adult…

Andy is an intern at Mamamia/iVillage who recently finished her Media & Communications degree at University of Wollongong. Apart from writing, she loves instagramming, experimental baking and laughing. You can hear more from Andy on her blog or twitter.

So, how about you? Anyone else out there got a flip-side best and worst this week?
