'I'm Mamamia's beauty editor. Here are the 9 items I have in my EOFY shopping cart right now.'

A bit of shush, please. A bit of shush. Because it's EOFY sale time and we're going to need to discuss what we ("me") are going to be spending our monies on — because so much choice! So many discounts! So overwhelming!

In 2023, the EOFY sales are bigger than ever, with more and more brands jumping in on the action and dishing out some drool-worthy deductions — The Iconic, Adore Beauty, Myer, the whole gang.

So, whether you've had your eye on something for yonks and want to treat yourself or pick up some cute gift sets for someone else, there couldn't be a better time to do it.

Watch: Before we get into it, check out Leigh Campbell trying the 'diamond lips' hack on the You Beauty podcast. Post continues below.

And before you ask (I can see you, Mum) I'm not actually purchasing everything. But! There's a list of things I totally would recommend if you're up for a shop but don't know where to start.

Here's a pervy look at my shopping list for the EOFY beauty sales.

Sulwhasoo Bestseller Trial Kit, was $79, now $55.30.

This is a seriously good deal, you guys. If you're yet to experience the absolute luxury that is Sulwhasoo, this one's for you. This four-piece kit contains all the best-selling products from the cult K-Beauty brand and is perfect for travel, as a gift, or simply to try all the Sulwhasoo goodness you wish you discovered ages ago. (Psst... my fave pick is the First Care Activating Serum).

Ultra Violette Vi's Lip Savers, was $55, now $38.

Leigh Campbell said this was one of her picks in the sales, so obviously I added it straight onto my list, too. These are hydrating, non-sticky and the best way to add a whack of moisture to your lips while protecting them. Plus, the shades are stellar and the tint of colour makes your smackers look all glossy and gorgeous.

Nudestix Nudies Bloom All Over Dewy Color Blush, was $57, now $39.90.

These multipurpose makeup sticks from Nudestix are elite. It's a creamy formula that's super versatile and can be used across the eyes, lips and cheeks — it's an absolute MVP to have in your makeup bag, in my honest opinion.

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Serum, was $359, now $287.20.

It’s still hella expensive, I know, but it’s a big ol' 115ml bottle and it's also one of the best multitasking serums getting around. It has an instant soothing and hydrating effect on the skin and makes your face look overall brighter and happier. If you're someone who doesn't quite know where to start with serums, this is it.

Benefit The POREfessional Deep Retreat Clay Mask Mini, was $32, now $22.40.

I use this mask once a week to draw all the s**t out of my skin — and it's so good. It doesn't irritate. Doesn't make my skin red. It just does its job, every time. You'll find that it pulls all the gunk to the surface of your skin (you can actually see it. So satisfying) and leaves your pores all neat and tidy.

Mermade Hair Blow Dry Brush, was $109, now $87.20.

My colleague Charlotte Begg waltzed into the Mamamia office the other day wearing the most amazing curl/blowout situation, courtesy of the Mermade Hair Blow Dry Brush — and I now officially need this in my life. As someone whose go-to style is sleek and straight, I think this is just the ticket to pull me out of my stagnant hair slump.

Circa Jasmine & Magnolia Fragrance Diffuser, was $49.95, now $39.96.

Have we sniffed this? Oh, you should. It's one of my faves. While it's a bit of a summery scent compared to what it feels like outside — you can’t go wrong. It smells beautifully clean and uncomplicated and makes your home feel like an actual delight.

OPI Infinite Shine Pro Stay Nail Polish Duo Pack, was $34.95, now $26.21.

If you like the look of gel nails but don't have the time/money/patience to spend in the salon (not to mention the whole removal process, too — ugh), OPI makes this stellar DIY kit. You simply use the base polish, choose your own shade and then use the top coat for gorgeous long-lasting, chip-free nails. It's basically a two-for-the-price-of-one situation and we love to see it.

The Ordinary Smooth & Bright Set, was $102.60, now $82.

The two words you absolutely want — nay need — in reference to your skin: smooth and bright. And this five-piece set from The Ordinary is everything you need to get there. It includes Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG, Salicylic Acid 2% Masque and Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA — pretty much everything you need for a solid skincare routine. Get amongst it.
