Chrissy Teigen embraced the 'side vag' on the American Music Awards red carpet.

Just like that, folks, the American Music Awards are upon us again, with the who’s who of the US music industry getting glammed up and letting their fashion flag fly loud and proud.

And as per usual, 2016’s red carpet has not disappointed.

While she wasn’t formally nominated for any awards at this year’s AMAs, Chrissy Teigen has definitely taken out some of the (hypothetical) red carpet fashion gongs.

The model wore a black dress with a waist-high slit, held in place with nothing but a safety pin (giving us major Liz Hurley vibes in the process).

In fact, it was edging dangerously close to "side vag" territory.

But hey, if you've got it, flaunt it, right?

Ahead of her appearance, Teigen joked on Twitter, "I shaved above the knee today so yes it is a big day today."

If the future First Lady Melania Trump hadn't ruined pussy bows for us, we'd probably love Heidi Klum's disco-inspired jumpsuit that serves as a throwback to a simpler, Trump-free time.

But for right now, we can't tell if it's too much or just enough.

Props for looking like the physical embodiment of an awards statue, though.

It feels seriously weird to write this, but forget One Direction's Harry Styles and Zayn Malik.

This red carpet, it's Niall Horan that's making us feel all of the sexy, tingly lady feels.

Wearing the boy band's breakup well, Niall's combination of glasses, grown out beachy tips, unkempt stubble and tailored suit are the perfect solo statement. (But seriously — call me, Niall.)

Fifth Harmony

With one of the biggest hits of the year under their belt, it was inevitable that pop superstars Fifth Harmony were going to put in work when it came to the red carpet (pun absolutely intended there, by the way).

And as we all know, nothing makes a social outing more fun than matching outfits.

Bandmates who dress together stay together, right?
