If you were a teenager in the early 2000s, it’s highly likely you were captivated by the 2002 filmA Walk To Remember.

Based on the Nicholas Sparks ‘ novel of the same name, it has all the ingredients of a great romantic film: a sweet yet heartbreaking storyline, a soundtrack that tugged at the heartstrings and a totally crush-worthy pair of star-crossed lovers – Mandy Moore and Shane West.

15 years after the film’s release, Mandy Moore has hosted an ‘ask me anything’ session on Twitter inviting followers to ask her questions about making the movie. And when one fan asked the 32-year-old if she would consider anA Walk To Rememberreunion? She replied that they’re “working on it.”

It’s hard to consider how anA Walk To Rememberreunion would work considering, well, the movie didn’t exactly have a happy ending for the leading characters. Nevertheless, the thought of seeing Moore and West together again is exciting enough!

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly,Moore and West agreed that the film was just as special to make as it is to watch.

“There are very few times in your career when the memories and the relationship you have to a project match the relationship that an audience has to the project — but this movie is as special to me as it seems to be to people out there in the world,” Moore said. “I mean that’s the reason that 15 years later we’re still talking about it.”

“It was a great experience, it was a lot of fun, everyone bonded on set and off,andit happened to turn out to be a success,” West said. “You couldn’t ask for anything more.”

We can only hope that more details about theA Walk To Rememberreunion will be revealed soon.
