Relax. Even Kate and Wills miss the odd parenting milestone.

The American tabloids are abuzz that the royal baby is on the move, and that that his parents weren’t there to see it.

Prince William, 31 and Duchess of Cambridge Kate, 32, have missed Prince George’s biggest baby milestone so far: the ever important, always impressive first crawl.

Will and Kate were busy on their baby-free holiday at the five-star Chavel Blank Randheli resort in the Maldives when the 10-month-old bub moved his little muscles across the floor and no doubt they’re kicking themselves because of it.

A source close to the Royal couple has revealed to Us Weekly that Prince George was staying over at his grandparents, Carole and Michael Middleton’s home in Bucklebury, England, when the magic moment occurred.

Fortunately, the source reports, that “William and Kate are excited about the many milestones ahead. George has a tiny tooth coming in. And his cheeks are chubbier than ever!”

Considering George will be accompanying his parents on his first official tour in Australia next month, it’s perfect timing for the Prince, who we can no doubt expect to crawl across the country.
