But first, a quick refresher. The Summer I Turned Pretty is based on The New York Times bestselling book series by Jenny Han. The story follows Isabel "Belly" Conklin (newcomer Lola Tung), who is spending the holidays with her mother Laurel (Jackie Chung) and brother Steven (Sean Kaufman) at the beach house of her mother's oldest friend Susannah (Rachel Blanchard).
Also staying at the beach house are Susannah's two teenage sons Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) and Conrad (Christopher Briney), who have always treated Belly like a little sister. But the summer she turns 16, everything changes.
Cue an epic love triangle for the ages!
