After being bombarded with hundreds, nay THOUSANDS, of sale advertisements in the post Boxing Day rush, I’ve decided to save you the hard yards with a selection of the most fabulous finds online this week. So you don’t have to brave the shopping centres, in fact you barely need to move your index finger.

1. Seed Adrina Pocket Back Heel

I have a serious fashion black hole in my wardrobe and it’s the LBH (Little Black Heel). I own several pairs of toe-pinching pointy heels, plenty of orthopedic clodhopper versions and pair of kitten heels, which haven’t been worn in more than a decade. But I think I can turn a corner with these stylish, yet practical (the heel isn’t 10 inches high and it grips your ankle properly) pair from Seed.

2. OPI Nailpolish

If Cleopatra time-traveled to New York and arrived in the 1930s Jazz Age, she’d be sporting this glittery shade on her fingertips. The metallic black lacquer with pops of silver glitter means a lot of sparkle but in an elegant way – not a ‘I stole this off my teenage daughter’ way. If a full set of glittery tips seem a bit scary to start with, use a light, single coat for a less-bold metallic sheen.

4. UNICEF Story Book packs 

If you’ve made a New Year’s resolution to be more charitable in 2013, then this could be a great way to kick it off. This story book pack from UNICEF is just $11 and buys three local-language books to brighten the lives of children in far-off primary schools. Who wouldn’t want to be part of that story?

5. Topshop Gold Stripe Drop Hem Dress

Looking for a laid-back yet sophisticated dress to wear this party season – one you can later wear for work? Then this Topshop Gold Stripe dress is it. Dress it up with heels (see #1, Seed heels!) or down with a pair of strappy flats, slip on a stack of black and gold bracelets (#armparty anyone?) and you’re good to go. Even better still, it’s machine washable.
