Teachers' message: "We don't suck, you do"

For any parent who loves a teacher, for any teacher who um, struggles, with a parent… this song’s for you.

You’d think teachers and parents would be allies. They both have a common goal – for their children to be happy, safe and loved, and to arm them with the knowledge and experience needed to tackle life in the best possible way.

It should be as simple as that, but it isn’t. Somewhere along the way, everything got a bit blurry and battle lines were drawn. Teachers somehow became Public Enemy No 1 for everyone from students to parents to the Government – and now they’re fighting back.

This spoof teacher awareness campaign, arranged by US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, hilariously lampoons parents and their “stupid, fat” kids. The overall message? “We don’t suck, you suck.” (Relax, relax, it’s all in good fun)

Send it to every teacher in your life and watch them fistpump with recognition.

Did you have a favourite teacher when you were at school?
