Sex tapes and double lives: Here's where the former stars of Vanderpump Rules are now.

We’re in the thick of the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion episodes – and with all ongoing drama, we have to wonder what happened to the all stars of the show who didn't make it this far.

Here's what some of the former cast members of Vanderpump Rules are up to now:

Stassi Schroeder 2013-2020.

Stassi Schroeder was an OG and perhaps one of the most polarising cast members until she was fired in 2020 after racially insensitive remarks she’d made about Faith Stowers resurfaced during the Black Lives Matter movement.

Schroeder and her partner, casting agent Beau Clark, quickly went into hiding, only resurfacing after it was revealed they were expecting their first child.

Since then, the 34-year-old’s career has skyrocketed. Not only did she write two bestsellers, Next Level Basic, and Off With My Head, but her podcast Straight Up With Stassi has become a cult favourite with fans. Since then, she's gone on to have a national, sell-out tour called Mommy Dearest, plus she and Clark have their The Good The Bad The Baby podcast, which details the ups and downs of parenthood and marriage.

She also managed to fit two weddings into her busy schedule, one before the birth of their daughter Harford in 2020, and another in Italy in 2022. As for whether she’d ever return to the series that made her a star? “If I was an executive producer, if I was in charge of what goes out,” she told the Skinny Confidential Him and Her podcast in 2022. “I have a kid now…there’s literally no way I would let someone who doesn’t know me or her produce and edit her and put her out without me or Beau’s approval of what goes out. So there’s that.”

Schroeder and Clark are expecting their second child, a boy, in a matter of weeks.

Kristen Doute 2013-2020.

Like Schroeder, Kristen Doute was an OG, and part of the Faith Stowers scandal. She too was fired from the series in 2020. But, we did see her make a brief comeback on the season 10 finale of VPR to console her friend Ariana Madix. For a bit of context, Tom Sandoval actually cheated on Doute with Madix almost a decade ago.

The 40-year-old also cheated on Sandoval with his best friend, Jax Taylor, who also dated her best friend Schroeder. And it doesn’t stop there! The T-shirt designer then embarked on a turbulent romance with current cast member James Kennedy. Can you keep up?

She is currently in a relationship with Sex, Love and What Else Matters podcast co-host Luke Broderick, and has released a book called He’s Making You Crazy.

Since exiting the reality series, Doute says she’s “changed a lot” and had to “kinda, eat shit for a while” to prove herself.

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright 2013-2020.

Another original member of the series, notorious philanderer Jax Taylor left VPR in 2020, along with his wife Brittany Cartwright, whom he met on season three.

The pair were engaged in 2018, married a year later, welcoming their son Cruz in 2021.

Taylor’s absence from the series was undeniable, which is why Lisa Vanderpump recruited a tonne of new cast members, almost all of whom were left in his dust.

But rumours are swirling that he and Cartwright will make their triumphant – and no doubt dramatic – return next season.

"We have things that are coming, arising," Taylor, 43, told Entertainment Tonight. "I don't know what we're allowed to [say]. We're working on a situation. What I'd like to have is the parents on one [show] and that's what I wanted, but I don't know. [Scandoval] is causing a lot right now so they're kind of waiting to see how this plays out."

If one thing’s for sure, Taylor would add a whole new dynamic to the Scandoval drama, given he and the amateur rockstar are now sworn enemies. C’mon Vanderpump, give the people what they want!

Randall Emmett 2018-2022.

Randall, Randall, Randall – where do we even start with this guy?

Movie producer Randall Emmett and server Lala Kent began dating in 2016. At the time, the 52-year-old was married to You actress Ambyr Childers, with whom he shares two children.

By 2018, Emmett and Kent were engaged, with plans to marry in 2020, around the same time they fell pregnant with their daughter Ocean. But it didn’t take long for Kent and her “stand-up man” to split. She learned he was having an affair, and more.

In 2022, Emmett was accused of offering roles in return for sexual favours, in an investigative piece by The Los Angeles Times - claims he “staunchly” denied. He also reportedly owes various people a lot of money, including Jax Taylor and 50 Cent.

The father-of-three is reportedly engaged once more, and is the subject of a new documentary, The Randall Scandal: Love, Loathing, and Vanderpump. During an interview on Nightline, Kent confessed she only learned her husband-to-be was living a double, dirty life after Ocean was born.

"I didn't realise who I was sleeping next to and who I had a child with," she said. "I think if I would have known who he is, I never would have gotten involved with him, and I most certainly wouldn't have brought an innocent little baby into the world."

Mike Shay 2013-2017.

When Mike Shay married his long-time love Scheana Shay in front of TV audiences in 2014, we all thought the ‘Good As Gold’ singer had found her happily ever after – or did we?

It took a nano second before word of his substance abuse issues and the theft of money from his wife surfaced, and by 2017, the Sur server had filed for divorce from Shay, a music producer and rapper.

"I had never considered getting a divorce whatsoever because I took our vows very seriously,” she told E! News. "I couldn't ever move forward with him when so much trust had been broken.” These days, he calls himself a “rapper/producer/DJ” and has switched his Instagram account to “private”.

Frank Herlihy 2013.

Remember this guy? If you can think way back to season one, you’ll recall him dating Schroeder after her split from Taylor. Like the others, he was a Sur bartender but was eventually fired. Here’s why.

Schroeder claims Herlihy shopped around a sex tape they made, pitching it for $900. In her book Next Level Basic, she called the incident “one of the scariest things that’s ever happened to me”.

“The plane landed and I had text messages from Lisa Vanderpump and our producer Alex Baskin saying Call me 911. My heart literally fell into my asshole (I’m sure that’s medically possible, because I felt it), and when I found out this ex was trying to sell TMZ a tape of me masturbating, I fell onto the floor of JFK crying,” she said.

After ignoring his threats, “he started showing up at my old apartment and scaring my ex-roommate,” she wrote. “Then he asked Lisa Vanderpump for $900 to not release the tape, and I was like, $900?? That’s all I’m worth?! What kind of amateur extortionist only asks for $900?”

Vanderpump paid the amount and Schroeder never heard from him again – and neither did we. According to reports, some say he lives a low-key life in Santa Monica, while others believe he works in a New York deli.

Vail Bloom 2015.

Vail Bloom was only on the series for a hot minute during season-three, but she made her mark when she was romantically linked to Jax Taylor.

An actress by trade, and a mum-of-two, the 40-year-old appeared in a number of low-budget films since, and has returned to The Young and the Restless as Heather Stevens, a reoccurring role she’s had since 2007.

Oh, and did we mention she dated Chris Pine in 2015? Lucky gal!

Faith Stowers 2015-2017.

We all remember Stowers as the employee who Taylor cheated on Cartwright with, but post VPR, she rebranded.

As we previously mentioned, in 2020 Stowers called out Schroeder and Doute for racially insensitive remarks they made about her during her time on the show, and revealed the women actually filed a false police report accusing her of theft.

Stowers told PEOPLE she didn’t want the women to succumb to cancel culture, what she wanted was for them to “listen and learn”. She said, "When they do realise the power that they have, I want them to utilise it for good. They shouldn't be shunned for what they did, that won't help them.

"Maybe we will see good things from Stassi and Kristen down the road.”

Soon after, Stowers welcomed a baby boy. She’s also appeared on Ex On The Beach and The Challenge. These days she dabbles in acting, influencing and philanthropy.

Billie Lee 2018-2019.

In 2018 we were introduced to Billie Lee, the first transgender employee to grace our screens on VPR. But her time on the show was short-lived.

She quit the show in 2019 citing bullying from other cast members as the reason for her exit, but remained close with Sandoval and Madix. Ironically, cast members like Scheana Shay and Lala Kent have accused Lee of hooking up with Sandoval during his nine-year relationship with Madix, claims both she and the white nail polish afficionado deny.

Away from the drama, Lee is trying her hand as a stand-up comedian.

Patrick Meagher 2016-2019.

We have one word to describe Schroeder’s boyfriend of four years: douchebag.

The radio host dumped her on their anniversary and made some gross comments about Vanderpump’s derriere.

“When you’re so deep in something — and you know, we were together on and off for four years, it’s a really long time — I couldn’t see it for what it was,” she told The Daily Dish podcast.

In 2023, Meagher hosts a sports betting podcast called Sharp Money, which has just 186 Instagram followers.

Max Boyens 2019-2020.

Season seven marked a mass exodus of the show’s biggest stars, and it also heralded a new era for Vanderpump Rules. Matt Boyens was one of the many new faces introduced to viewers, but like a few co-stars before him, he was fired in 2020 after old social media posts resurfaced, showing the bartender making several racist and homophobic comments.

Despite his quick rise and fall, Boyens still works in hospitality today. According to LinkedIn, he’s a “guest experience manager” at Mosaic Hospitality Management.

Dayna Kathan 2019-2020.

Along with Boyens, Dayna Kathan joined the team at TomTom, and the pair quickly started dating. But alas, that didn’t last, nor did her time on the show.

She left in 2020 – no scandal here – and is working on becoming a stand-up comedian. She’s also still friends with Madix, Schroeder, Doute, Katie and Katie Maloney.

It’s safe to say she’s #TeamAriana.

Brett Caprioni 2020.

Just like Boyens, Brett Caprioni joined VPR only to be fired in 2020 after old tweets containing racial slurs surfaced. Umm, did LVP do any background checks?

We have nothing of note to report on Caprioni, except that he’s a personal trainer and model.
