Four ordinary women get cover model makeovers. And hate it.

Nobody is perfect. Well, except for cover models who’ve been nipped, tucked, air-brushed, polished, stretched and smoothed within an inch of their lives.

In an attempt to achieve aesthetic ‘perfection’, four ordinary women (AKA non models) participated in a professional photo shoot. Their images, as is the norm for any professional set of photos, were then edited by a photoshop expert.

The goal? To make these real women look like models. But what they found was that once they’d received the undivided attention of makeup artists, hairstylists, cameras and photoshoppers — there wasn’t much left of them.
