Pregnant woman who survived burns all over her body shares her stunning maternity photos.

A pregnant burn survivor has shared glorious pictures from her maternity photo shoot.

Andrea Grant, along with her brother, was critically injured in a gas explosion at their home in Jacksonville, Florida, when she was nine years old in 2001.

Now 37 weeks pregnant with her second child, Andrea has shared on Instagram the beautiful photos from her recent maternity photo shoot with Terrence Armand.

The 24-year-old is a motivational speaker and advocate for burn survivors and shows off her gorgeous pregnant belly with self-confidence she said took time to develop.

“I learned to love myself unconditionally, Because I am a queen #BurnSurvivor,” she captioned one of the images.

“My mother raised me to believe I was/am beautiful… even when on days I know I was hard to look at,” she commented on another.

Andrea, on Instagram as Chillonmill, is also the founder of Beyond Scars Inc – a not-for-profit organisation that advocates and provides support for burn victims and their families.

“Beyond Scars focuses on self-esteem, confidence, and, perseverance,” Andrea wrote on the site.

She said that she hopes by sharing her story she makes it possible for others to also become more than their scars.

As the site detailed, Andrea has overcome “many adversities in the 15 years since her tragic accident, touching many hearts along the way”.

“She is no longer a burn victim but a burn survivor.”
