Passengers injured as plane strikes turbulence before landing at Sydney Airport

Paramedics have been called to Sydney international airport after a plane struck turbulence, leaving several passengers injured.

The ABC understands three people — two of them elderly — are among those requiring medical attention.

Emergency services received the call for help just after 2:30pm.

It is believed there were 30 people on board the plane, which landed safely.
