A six-year-old boy has died after riding his mini motorbike into a ute.

A six-year-old boy has died more than a week after he rode his mini motorbike into a ute in the NSW Riverina.

The boy rode his Yamaha Peewee 50 out of a farm on the outskirts of Griffith and into an oncoming ute on June 4.

He was airlifted to Sydney Children’s Hospital where he died from his injuries on Sunday, NSW Police said in a statement on Tuesday.
