She’s broken in to the fashion world as a stylist, runs a succesful blog and is married to one of Australia’s most loved singers, Guy Sebastian. On top of all that Jules Sebastian has two young boys, and seems to juggle everything seamlessly.
But, like all mums (working or stay-at-home) Jules has her challenges and says that raising two boys can be hard at times.
“I think boys are just like little energy bunnies. They just never stop.”
Jules tells me that you need to have a long battery life to keep up with boys.
"They can just go and go and go. So it’s quite exhausting being a mum of two boys because of the physical energy you have to expel," she says.
The fashion stylist has two sons, three-year-old Hudson and one-year-old Archie. She says having boys that are different ages can make the running around a little easier. Because the older one doesn't stop and the younger one is a bit slower. But that can create other challenges.
"It’s about doing things with them that they can both do and that I can handle when I’ve got them both together...that’s probably the most challenging thing for me. But luckily, they’re pretty close in age. So I think the older they get, the easier they will get."
I ask if she's ruled out the idea of trying for a girl one day. he doesn't want to say that it'll never happen but she's very happy with her family at the moment.
"Everybody asks me...I don't know. Never say never."
"I come from a family of three. Guy has four brothers in his family, so we come from semi-big families. I'm going to say, 'never say never'. But the immediate plan, no," she says.
