You've been doing it all wrong: Peeling carrots

 

Newsflash: Unless you’ve going to chef school, you are most likely peeling a carrot wrong. But today is your lucky day: you are about to witness the secret of how to effectively and efficiently peel a carrot.

Step 1

Realise that your peeler has two blades. TWO blades.

Step 2

Hold your carrot at 45 degrees and peel down.

Step 3

Don't lift your peeler. Instead peel up. Go up and down while slowly turning the carrot.

Step 4

Flip the carrot and do it all over again.

Step 5

Voila. A perfectly peeled carrot in 5 seconds.

Step 6
