An Oscar nominee and a White Lotus star: Where the Friday Night Lights cast are now.

There are six words that can bring any Friday Night Lights fan to their knees: Clear eyes, full hearts, can't lose.

If you know, you know.

The teen series has steadily grown a cult following over the 17 years since it first made its debut. Adapted from a 1990 nonfiction book by H. G. Bissinger, which was first adapted into the 2004 film of the same name, the TV series could have been a huge flop.

But oh boy, it was something special. The teen drama. The romance. The competitions. The emotions. The camaraderie. The team spirit. Friday Night Lights had it all.

The series aired from 2006 to 2011, launching the careers of Minka Kelly, Jesse Plemons, Taylor Kitsch, and Michael B. Jordan.

Years on, series star Zach Gilford has launched a podcast, It's Not Only Football, where he looks back at the seminal series and interviews some of the former cast members.

So where did the Friday Night Lights class end up after all these years? Let's find out!

Connie Britton aka Tami Taylor.

Despite the many (and I mean many) roles the actress has done since Friday Night Lights, Connie Britton will always be Tami to us. Straight from the final season of FNL, the actress jumped into another successful long-running series, Nashville, which earned her an Emmy and Golden Globe nomination.

She has also appeared in American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Dirty John, and season one of The White Lotus

The actress was married to John Britton from 1991 until they divorced in 1995. She adopted her son, Eyob, at nine months old from Ethiopia in November 2011. Connie has been dating This Is Us writer David E. Windsor since November 2019.

Kyle's Coach Taylor was so beloved by fans that the actor won an Emmy for his final season performance. Since the show ended in 2011, Kyle has been cast in a string of blockbuster films such as Argo, Zero Dark Thirty, The Wolf of Wall Street, and both Godzilla sequels.

The actor is married to Kathryn MacQuarrie, to whom he got hitched in 1995. They share two daughters, Sydney and Sawyer.

Taylor Kitsch aka Tim Riggins.

If you watched FNL then odds are you had a filthy crush on Taylor Kitsch, the hunk of the series. Fresh from the teen series concluding, Taylor made his film debut as the titular action hero in John Carter, but it was a flop at the box office.

Since then, Taylor has appeared in movies such as Lone Survivor, American Assassin, and 21 Bridges. His biggest role to date since playing Tim Riggins has been portraying cult leader David Koresh in the Waco series.

Kitsch's next role will be in the upcoming Netflix series Painkiller, which will be about the birth of the opioid crisis.

Over the years, he's dated his costar Minka Kelly and was most recently romantically linked to Mean Girls actress Rachel McAdams, who he had previously dated in 2015.

Like Taylor, Minka didn't find much immediate success after Friday Night Lights finished up. She was cast in the ill-fated Charlie's Angels TV reboot, which was axed after four episodes.

But luckily, the actress would go on to star in TV series Titans and Euphoria. Aside from acting, Kelly's 2023 memoir Tell Me Everything: A Memoir became a New York Times Best Seller.

Minka has been linked to a whole host of famous partners. Firstly dating Taylor while filming Friday Night Lights, she would go on to date Chris Evans, Jesse Williams, and talk show host, Trevor Noah.

She is currently dating Dan Reynolds from the band Imagine Dragons.

Zach played rookie player Matt in the popular teen series and became something of a teen heartthrob, even starring in a Taylor Swift music video playing her love interest in 2011.

The actor went on to star in Good Girls, along with Netflix's horror limited-series Midnight Mass, and a string of other horror films, including The Purge: Anarchy and There's Something Wrong With The Children.

As of 2023, Zach plays the character of Elias in Criminal Minds: Evolution.

The actor got hitched to actress Kiele Sanchez in December 2012 after two years of dating. In November 2017, they welcomed their daughter, Zeppelin Adele, via surrogate.

Jesse Plemons aka Landry Clarke.

After finishing up as Landry, Jesse has gone on to have a massive career. He starred in TV shows Fargo, Black Mirror and Breaking Bad before making his splash in movies, with roles in The Irishman, Judas and the Black Messiah, and The Power Of The Dog, the latter earning him an Academy Award nomination.

The actor's most recent role was opposite Elizabeth Olsen in HBO true crime series Love & Death

Jesse met fellow actor Kirsten Dunst while filming Fargo in 2015 and the two have since welcomed two children – Ennis and James. They married in 2022.

Adrianne Palicki aka Tyra Collette.

Adrianne played Landry's on/off love interest on FNL. Since her days of cheering on the Dillon Panthers, Adrianne has starred in TV shows Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Orville, with small roles in the movies John Wick and Legion

The actress married her The Orville costar Scott Grimes in 2019 but have since divorced.

Scott Porter aka Jason Street.

Scott played high school football star Jason, who was learning to live with a disability after an injury in the first season. Since his final season, the actor has found more success on TV in series Hart of Dixie, Scorpion, and most recently in Netflix's Ginny & Georgia.

Porter met his wife, casting director Kelsey Mayfield, on the set of Friday Night Lights. The pair got married in 2013 and share a son, McCoy, and a daughter, Clover.

Michael B. Jordan.

While the actor only signed on in the later seasons, it would be remiss not to mention this bona fide movie star.

Where to begin with Michael B. Jordan's acting resume since leaving Friday Night Lights

The actor has carried both the Rocky spin-off Creed and Black Panther film franchises for the past five years. He's also starred in movies such as Just Mercy and Fahrenheit 451.

Jordan was previously romantically linked to Lori Harvey, but they split in 2022. As of 2023, he is reportedly dating UK model Amber Jepson.

In both 2020 and 2023, Jordan was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine. And in shocking news for no one with eyes, in 2020 he was also named People's Sexiest Man Alive. No, really!
