Last week we were told that washing chicken is actually a terrible, horrible idea. It sparked an epic debate in the office and on Facebook, between the chicken-washers and the non-chicken washers.

We've been told to wash all of our fruit and vegetables before eating them to remove pesticide residue but these five foods MUST be washed to prevent long term health risks like cancer and neurological disorders.

There are however, five foods you can get away with not washing because of their seriously low pesticide exposure.
