The First Dates moment that made Australia do a double take.

The second episode of First Dates served up a whole lot more controversy than the first, with one particular moment causing some viewers to choke on their dinners.

Before heading into the restaurant to meet her blind that 26-year-old Anna explained she was looking for a “gentleman”.

“I’m a firm believer that a woman needs to be a lady in the living room, a cook in the kitchen and a slut in the bedroom,” she told the cameras behind the scenes.

“Yeah, I just said that.”

She continued: "I would like to find a man who treats me like a lady — at least outside of bed — and then respectfully disrespects me when it comes to it.

"I've been single for six months, so I'd want to find gentleman who's tall and strong because I do like men carrying me around, especially when it's for breakfast."

While Anna's personal preferences in the bedroom are absolutely none of our business, her views on what women ought to be struck a nerve with some Australians.

Oddly enough, it's the second time in a fortnight the word "slut" has been dropped on an Aussie reality TV show at dinnertime, and this did not go unnoticed by many following along at home.

Two weeks ago My Kitchen Rules "villain" Josh Meeuwissen used the word to describe a female contestant while she handed him his plate.

Listen: This is why there's a huge problem with this season of My Kitchen Rules.

Regardless of her somewhat outdated views, however, unlike Josh, Anna proved to be rather charming by the end.

At least, her date 30-year-old David thought so judging solely by how many times he said "wow" and "wowee" as innuendo peaked around the pair's phallic banana-based dessert.

Happily, they both agreed a second date was in order and Anna vowed to "corrupt" him in the end.

Ahhh, new love.
