'I’m a fashion influencer. Here are 6 boujee products I'm eyeing off this season.'

If you go through my camera roll at any given time you will find a never ending dump of screenshots of items that I am simply just obsessed with. I can’t help it.

Whenever I open up my Pinterest, TikTok #fyp or Insta feed I am landing on gems that consume my attention for the next five business days. So it’s only natural that I love to share my finds on socials but also here for you friends – because I certainly do not gatekeep. 

Not to mention with soirée season coming in hot and fast: the parties, fam bam reunions, bestie catch ups will soon have your calendar in a chokehold. So, let me be of service and present to you a round up of 6 boujee and iconic items that I believe will turn heads and are totally worth the investment. 

Firstly though. One simply can’t enter summer without rocking a signature scent. The days are lighter for longer, so people are all round vibier, which means you are heading out and being more social. So it’s important to have a scent that will have people asking you “Omg what perfume are you wearing??”

And the number one fragrance on the top of my wishlist right now is YSL Beauty's new Libre Le Parfum. Libre is bolder, hotter, freer and has been dubbed as the ultimate scent of freedom in the beauty world.

So obviously I had to go test it at Sephora to see what the hype was all about. I immediately fell in love with the warm and spicy notes, and hints of floral lavender and saffron. I strutted around the shopping centre afterwards feeling confident AF. 

Equally on my radar is YSL’s Libre Eau de Parfum. This one is the iconic original Libre (the French word for ‘free’), and is a statement floral lavender fragrance for the women who live by their own rules.

Now if my mum is reading this, I need to apologise. You see, I purchased the Libre Parfum for her birthday. But I have been spritzing mum’s new bottle in secret because I am that obsessed. The orange blossom from Morocco, with the boldness of lavender from France and note of Musk Accord with a feminine twist, has me showing up as my best self. I most definitely need to purchase a bottle and gift this to myself. From me to me. The best kind of presents. 

Aje Cherished Midi Dress, $475.

If the category was fairycore princess barbie, this lilac midi dress from Aje would win everytime. With the iconic puff sleeves and smocked bodice, it makes for the ultimate festive number for any daytime social duties. 

It’s the perfect dress to reach for without even thinking for whenever you need to simply show up looking put together. Pair with strappy sandals, gold statement earrings, your favourite bright bag and an Aperol Spritz – and you are channelling effortless boujee princess.

Bonus points as well because if you are bigger busted like me, the bodice structure makes your chest feel so supported and secure. Take a look at my bubblegum pink Aje dress, I was going braless in it and you would never know.

Coach Pillow Tabby Shoulder Bag 26 in Ivory, $995.

Another recent fixation of mine – the Pillow Tabby Coach bags. I know this style has been on the scene since the '70s, but thanks to TikTok they are creeping their way to become the new everyday IT bag.

And I am not mad about it. In comparison to other designer bags, the Tabby sits at a boujee yet reasonable price point. I for one am crushing hard on the ivory shade. The ultra-soft leather and wrapped signature hardware, make it such a versatile piece that can be paired with the likes of suits, sun dresses to jeans and a basic tee. 

Plus I can confirm first hand that the Tabby purses are worth it. For an early birthday present I recently purchased myself a denim and cherry printed Tabby. I love how they sit on the shoulder and how much room they have for a seemingly “small” bag. In fact just on the weekend my Tabby contained: lipgloss, bronzer, an umbrella, water bottle and even a full size bottle deodorant. I felt like Mary Poppins.

Miu Miu Nappa Leather Ballet flats, $1,390.

I never thought I would say this but ballet flats are back. The revival of 2012 indie sleaze and twee, and influences of IT girl Bella Hadid and brands like Miu Miu are to take credit.

I’m so here for this, because not only are ballet flats cute and nostalgic, but they are so bloody comfy. Win Win.

I love these ones from Miu Miu. I can see myself having a lot of fun styling these, where I would play into the feminine aesthetic of the ballet flats, and juxtapose that by styling outfits with more masculine silhouettes. Think a baggy pair of jeans with a top and oversized boyfriend blazer, as opposed to just opting for a flowy and more preppy style dress.

BLANCA Studios Pepa Cardigan, $299.

You know what’s hot? Trans-seasonal staple cardigans like the Pepa one from Aussie label BLANCA Studios. I love how oversized it sits and gives off such effortless cool girl energy when layering over a tank or tee. It stocks in a range of gorgeous colours, but the Cobalt Blue has to be my top contender. It simply pops so much and is the perfect piece to experiment with colour blocking and clashing.

Maison Balzac Cocktail glasses, from $69.

It was only a couple of months ago I came across Maison Balzac when I was window shopping along the streets of Sydney. Excuse the dramatics but I literally gasped at the Pinterest-like display of cocktail glasses. The creativity was truly out of this world and I have had these on the top of my wishlist ever since. I particularly love the Martini cocktail design, handmade from borosilicate glass, and has an everlasting olive in its heart – so you never run out!
