Welcome to another week of Best and Worst.
Best and Worst (or B’n’Dubz if you want to help me popularise it’s gangster nickname) is a little spot on the site where you can tell us the best and worst things that have happened in your week.
I’ll start us off:
Best: I have discovered baking this week. Well, look, I didn’t discover it in the sense that Clyde Tombaugh discovered Pluto (there’s a fun fact for small talk at weekend sport.)
That title probably belongs to some clever Neanderthal who decided that, when it was her turn on her cave drawing club’s morning tea roster, she would one-up Mrs. Oog’s smoked wilder beast by throwing a heap of flour, sugar and eggs into an oven, setting it to 160 fan forced, and crossing her fingers.
Regardless, this baking business is new territory for me, and I’m hooked. So hooked, in fact, that I’m going to post a picture of some things that I and my lovely Thursday interning buddy, Liza, baked just yesterday. I know, right? Pictures of food on the internet. Revolutionary.

I have been married for nearly 17 years, and our sex life has had it's ups and downs, but on a whole pretty good. I started to read a few mummy porn novels of late, and lets just say my drive and curiosity has been a lot higher. Now my totally Alpha husband was fine with that, but I must admit I was still a little disappointed, but wasn't confident to address some of my ideas with him. In the end I asked him to read a couple of my books, of course I chose some of the saucier ones to keep him interested. Well, holy crap, it's like I have a new husband, not only has he stepped up in the husband role, his sex skills have gone out of this world. He said after reading them something clicked, it's like I gave him a manual on the female mind. So let me say, that's the best bit, the worst obviously is going back to work on Monday after a fantastic weekend with my new husband.
worsts- my sister (ill with brain tumor and treatment now for over 3 years) had a seizure which seems to have left her with some significant damage. she is not very responsive and mobility is worse than before. she is in WA Govt hospital which seems really short staffed and I think the nursing staff are striking tomorrow!! I want badly for her to get transferred to her usual private hospital before that happens. I don't know the recovery time of these seizures but between thrusday nigth and now she isn't much differeent.
bests - went to a cake decorating class (i got 2 vouchers for my birthday) which gave me alot of new confidence in something artistic and I'm so excited to be doing my neice "dolly varden cake" can't wait to put it altogether.
- i'm really touched by how much attention and positive feedback i'm getting from my son's kindy, they are really looking out for him and I hope all the mum's think that too. it's my first fruit duty tomorrow and I'm very excited to see what's going on
-got a new car!!
