It’s a really good thing that most of my friends have finished getting married.
Because while I love a wedding, I loathe a hens night. And don’t get me started on kitchen teas.
But what I didn’t realise, is how expensive hen’s nights have become. And how full-on. How they now last for days and cost hundreds of dollars and sometimes involve getting on a plane and going to a different state.

I'm attending a hens night next year & can you please give me your opinion in regards to the following.
This is a Friday - Sunday thing. We have to pay $120 for the group activities, then fork out for our own pampering session, our own accommodation, our own alcohol and dinners on the nights we are there.
Can someone please tell me there idea on a fair amount to spend regarding a hens night, as this is going to cost us well over $300
I have a friends Hens coming up and they are asking $160 for a secret location in the city. The problem is this girl has completely ostracised herself from the group of girls and the last time I saw her was the engagement party. We used to be friends but now I just can’t justify the $160 for a girl I barely know anymore. She also has made a big statement and invited no ones partners to the wedding only her fiance's friends have partners who are invited. I’m currently earning bare minimum because I just finished uni and I have the money but I don’t want to spend it on that. Especially because She’s having a weekend away wedding, which will cost over $200 easy! I just wish she made it cheaper then I wouldn’t be stressing about it.
