Five-year-old Savanna Hensley’s dad Frank was reading her a bedtime story when he started having a heart attack.
He made a 911 call but couldn’t speak when the operator came onto the phone. So he handed the phone to his daughter. What happened next will just blow you away.
It’s equal parts awesome, cute and flat-out incredible.

Jason Bonham answered the 911 call at the Hancock County, Indiana, dispatch centre that night.
“You could hear the father a little bit where he said tell ’em,” said Bonham.
That’s when Savannah took over, telling him: “My dad can’t hardly breathe.”
“Most people when you talk to them, they’re hysterical,” said Bonham, who was shocked to hear Savannah was just five.
“Every time I’ve listened to it it’s amazing. She’s just a little person,” Jason recalls.
Savannah stayed on the line for nearly 10 minutes.
“He looks like he’s real shaky,” she announced at one point.
“You’re doing a good job, all right, Savannah?” Jason told her. “They should be there in a few minutes.”
“How many minutes?” she asked. “Okay, you have to stay awake they’ll be here in a couple minutes. It’s okay, Dad.”
At one point Savannah decided she couldn’t be in her pyjamas when the ambulance men arrived, so she announced she was going to her room to change. But Jason convinced her to stay with her dad. She’s now credited for saving her father’s life.
Savannah's mum Michelle, who wasn't home at the time, told Today wasn't surprised at all by her daughter's poise: "Well, I think if you know Savannah, you know that she would be able to handle the situation. But in actually hearing the call, it really touched my heart because it was my family and it became very real for me. I still get emotional when I hear the call. And we're just so proud of her. She did a fantastic job. And we had been practicing, and she just--she did a remarkable job."
