The Spill: Tuesday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. “I’m here for Angie.” The Bachelorette’s intruder Ryan Anderson admits he and Angie met before the show.

This week’s Bachelorette intruder, Ryan Anderson, hasn’t even entered the mansion yet but he already has an edge over the other contestants.

Not only is Ryan a dog lover (tick) from Queensland – the same state Angie grew up in (double tick), he already knew Angie before the show.

In an interview with TW Week, Ryan admitted that he previously bonded with Angie over their shared love of dogs and even thought about asking her out on a date.

“It started as common interest in the rescue-dog scene,” Ryan told the publication.

“We followed each other on Instagram and there was some banter.”

“I’m an ambassador for an assistance dog charity and they had their gala ball coming up. I planned to ask her to the ball, but in the interim, she announced that she was the new Bachelorette.”

Determined to get a date, Ryan decided to follow Angie onto The Bachelorette.

“I let it be at first… but then I thought, ‘I’m going to get that date regardless’ and subsequently applied for the show.”

Sorry Carlin, we’re already convinced Ryan’s a frontrunner.

2. “It was pretty crazy.” Jessica Mauboy has announced her engagement to long-time boyfriend Themeli Magripilis.

Yep, the 16-year-old girl we first met on 2006 Australian Idol is now engaged to her long-time boyfriend Themeli Magripilis.

Jessica confirmed the engagement earlier today when she was asked by paparazzi outside Sydney airport.

“It is very exciting. It was a big surprise, in fact, it was pretty crazy!”

“I didn’t expect it at all… in the future, but not that soon,” Jessica said.

After ten years of dating, Jess said he proposed last month while they were on holiday in Kalymnos, Greece.

"It was lovely, the family were all there and it was nice to have everyone around and the closest people that have seen me grow over the years and become the person I am today. It was very, very special."

Congratulations Jess and Themeli!

3. Oh. Kayne West thought Kim Kardashian's Met Gala dress was "too sexy".

If you've ever watched Keeping Up With The Kardashians, you'll know that Kanye West basically... reinvented Kim Kardashian's style.

Now, however, it seems Kanye is changing his mind.

During a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim's famous skin-tight wet-look Met Gala outfit led to a huge argument with Kanye.

"I just made this transition from being a rapper, looking at all these girls, looking at my wife," Kanye said. "Like, 'Oh, my girl needs to be like the other girls, showing her body off.'"

"I didn't realise that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone that's married and loved, and the father of now, what – about to be four kids?" he continued.

"A corset is a form of underwear. It's hot. It's like, it's hot for who, though?"

Oh. Okay, then...

Kim, who was clearly infuriated, responded: "I'm getting really bad anxiety. What are you talking about? I don't need any more negative energy for you to now say that you're not into me in a tight dress."

"You are my wife, and it affects me when pictures are too sexy," Kanye responded.

Yikes.

4. “Controlling my diet was my way of controlling things in my life." Bride and Prejudice's JoJo opens up about her battle with bulimia.

Since Bride & Prejudice: The Forbidden Weddings premiered, Jess and JoJo's heartbreaking story has resonated with thousands of Australians.

The couple, who are currently appearing on the reality show, face the hurdle of convincing JoJo's disapproving Lebanese Catholic parents to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day.

Now, speaking to New Idea, JoJo has opened up about another hurdle she's faced in her life – her battle with eating disorders.

"My whole relationship changed with food when I was in Year Seven," JoJo shared.

"I started dieting from a really young age and I became quite obsessed with my diet and restricting calories," she added.

JoJo shared that as a child, she often turned to food to deal with her emotions.

"Controlling my diet was my way of controlling things in my life," she said.

"I guess it turned more to anorexia in the early stages then it evolved to bulimia from there."

5. We're calling it: Gorgi Coghlan is definitely the Monster on The Masked Singer Australia.

Goodness.

For three weeks now, Australians have been on the edge of their couches as they attempt to guess the identities of furry animals singing on a reality TV show. And no, it does not get old.

With only five masks left – Robot, Monster, Spider, Unicorn and Wolf – we’re down to the finals and the suspense is acute.

We’re almost certain that Robot is Cody SimpsonUnicorn is Deni Hines and Wolf is Rob Mills.

But who is the Monster? We believe we have reason to assume it’s television presenter Gorgi Coghlan, who’s a regular host on The Project.

Here’s all the evidence that Gorgi Coghlan is the Monster on The Masked Singer Australia.

Clue: 31 was a game changer for Monster.

Evidence: Coghlan worked on community television station, Channel 31, in Melbourne.
