Celeb in 5: Monday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Oh. There’s a rumour that MAFS’ Jessika Power could appear on Love Island Australia.

In excellent news for those of us missing the presence of our favourite MAFS contestants on our screens (and by favourites we of course mean the ones who caused the most fights), our prayers have been answered.

One of them might be re-appearing in her ~search for love~, but instead of marrying a stranger on the television, she gets to go on an all-expenses paid holiday where she’ll be tasked with walking around in a bikini all day and dating an array of topless men.

We’re of course talking about Jessika Power, who has apparently proved she’s the perfect fit for a spot on the cast of Love Island Australia – the show which boasts a premise where contestants are actually encouraged to swap partners.

“[Producers] think she’s the perfect fit for the show,” a source claimed to NW, adding: “She’s never far from drama and has no problems partner swapping – not to mention she is ratings gold!”

Well… they’re not wrong there. We would definitely be tuning in.

While Jessika – who is apparently dating fellow MAFS alum Nick Furphy as of last week – is yet to confirm the claims, the source added that she has been boasting about getting paid six figures for the appearance.

Six figures.

Good lord.

2. Apparently The Bachelorette’s Angie Kent is keen to get MAFS’ Telv Williams on the show and wait, what?

According to Woman’s Day, Angie Kent has a crush on MAFS’ Telv Williams and has requested he join the suitors vying for her heart on The Bachelorette.

Uh… we’re not buying it.

We trust Osher completely and if he didn’t personally choose Telv for Angie, he’s not the man for her and that’s final.

While Telv is currently in a relationship with model Katie Beever, the publication today claimed that Angie has him on her “wish list” for the show, after they exchanged messages in the past.

We are unsure whether this was before or after his rumoured relationship with MAFS’ Jessika Power, while she was still with Dan Webb.

(It’s… confusing).

They also claimed that Nic Jovanovic, star of this year’s season of MAFS, is another suitor Angie was keen to see on the show.

We would only be open to this if it meant a guest appearance from Cyclone Cyrell would ensue.

Who can make this happen?

3. “I cry a lot.” Ariana Grande has opened up about the challenges of touring.

After crying on stage during her Sweetener tour, Ariana Grande's fans were concerned.

Taking to Twitter, many of them expressed that she needed time to heal instead of touring.

The great thing about first birthday parties is that if you stuff it up, your child probably won't remember it.

But for boxing champion Amir Khan and his wife, Instagram influencer Faryal Makhdoom, there was no room for error when they spent $140,000 (yes, really) on their second daughter's first birthday party.

The party was rainforest themed, with a five-tiered jungle themed cake and realistic props.

Animal dancers were hired, and the pair actually rented out an entire stadium for the party.

Is it normal to be jealous of a one-year-old's birthday party?

5. The bottle cap challenge has taken over Instagram. And Mariah Carey has officially won it.

Ever thought to check your kicking accuracy by backwards kicking a bottle cap off the top of a bottle? Neither did we.

But the internet is no place for rational thinking.

The ‘bottle cap challenge’ originated in martial arts circles as a means of testing karate and kicking skills, but since the internet loves a challenge (remember the ice bucket challenge?) the bottle cap challenge has become a… thing.

So, instead of having you trawl through the hashtag #BottleCapChallenge on Instagram or Twitter to find the funniest or most impressive attempts, we compiled the very best bottle cap challenges on the internet – including Mariah Carey – for you.
