Celeb in 5: Tuesday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Oh. Ada Nicodemou has been accused of copying Sophie Monk’s metallic Logies dress.

It’s been just two days since the Logies and as the hangovers subside, the juicy morsels of gossip are spilling out.

The latest tea-spill is in relation to a dress stitch-up between Sophie Monk and Ada Nicodemou, who both rocked metallic gowns with high splits to the event.

We were obviously digging both their looks, even if they were… similar.

Well.

Designer Jason Grech – who dressed Sophie – has posted to Facebook, claiming that Home and Away actress Ada Nicodemou’s metallic Steven Khalil gown was actually a copy of the shiny dress Sophie wore.

“I have to call this out,” he wrote.

“A stylist asked to borrow the Diana dress… for the Logies… I couldn’t accommodate the request because it had [Monk’s] name all over it,” he added.

“If you’re going to replicate my work, the least you can do is make it better.”

Ouch.

His comment kick-started a stylist war, with Ada’s stylist Donny Galella issuing the following statement:

“When Ada and I first met, we agreed to do a modern golden Grecian Goddess style dress,” he said, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

“Gold and high splits are both really popular trends at the moment as we saw on the red carpet. Designer Steven Khalil based Ada’s dress on a design that he is about to show from an upcoming collection, created in gold for Ada.”

Watch out for those sharp scissors.

2. Kim Kardashian has announced that she’s going to rename her controversial Kimono shapewear line.

Following widespread backlash over the release of her new shapewear brand, Kimono, Kim Kardashian West will re-launch the line under a new name out of respect to “inclusivity and diversity”.

The reality star and designer was highly criticised in June when she named her new line of affordable, customised shapewear after a traditional Japanese clothing garment. It was then revealed she had plans to trademark the name, further angering social media users.

Using the hashtag ‘#KimOhNo’, Twitter dissected the controversial move, labelling it cultural appropriation.

As a response to the pile-on, Kim told The New York Times: “Filing a trademark is a source identifier that will allow me to use the word for my shapewear and intimates line but does not preclude or restrict anyone, in this instance, from making kimonos or using the word kimono in reference to the traditional garment.”

On Instagram today, however, she admitted she had made a mistake and told fans she would be re-naming the product.

“I am always listening, learning and growing – I so appreciate the passion and varied perspectives that people bring to me. When I announced the name of my shapewear line, I did so with the best intentions in mind,” she wrote.

“My brands and products are built with inclusivity and diversity at their core and after careful thought and consideration, I will be launching my Solutionwear brand under a new name. I will be in touch soon. Thank you for your understanding and support always.”

3. We’ve just had our first look inside Chris Hemsworth’s huge Byron Bay home and… woah.

In case you missed it, Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky are building a huge home in Byron Bay.

The property, which is worth approximately $20 million, has been in the works for a few years now.

And now, we’ve finally had our first look inside the mammoth property.

Posting to Instagram, the Avengers: Endgame actor shared a new mural he commissioned inside the property.

“Had a big empty wall that needed some love and was beyond thankful to have one of my favourite artists Otis Hope Carey help out,” Hemsworth shared.

According to the actor, the mural symbolises “ceremonial dancing of the Gumbaynggirr people”.

Once completed, the property, which has been described by locals as “obscene”, will feature six bedrooms, an infinity pool, a steam room and a gym.

4. “No eye contact.” Apparently Kylie Jenner was kind of… rude at her latest photo shoot.

Oh.

Apparently Kylie Jenner was kind of… rude at her latest photo shoot.

The makeup mogul is currently appearing on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar alongside her mother, Kris Jenner, and her one-year-old daughter Stormi.

But according to the accompanying story in the magazine, it turns out Kylie’s on-set behaviour for the photo shoot wasn’t exactly… great.

According to Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Salma Awwad, unlike Kris, who was “bang on time” to the shoot, Kylie arrived an hour late.

“It’s at least 60 minutes later (and late) before Kylie pulls up in a silver Lamborghini Urus,” she wrote.

“No handshakes, no eye contact, straight to hair and make-up,” she added.

“You’d never guess that they were related.”

Yikes.

5. ‘I wish I didn’t go.’ Mamamia recaps the feud between MAFS’ Martha and Sunrise’s Kochie.

There’s an Australian celebrity feud I can’t stop thinking about and yes, it obviously involves Sunrise presenter David Koch, and Married at First Sight‘s Martha Kalifatidis.

It all started on the Logies red carpet, when Martha allegedly elbowed Kochie aggressively in the ribs.

As someone who was at the Logies on Sunday night I have to admit that while I did not witness the incident, it isn’t an entirely unlikely scenario. Martha and her partner from the show, Michael, were on the red carpet for a lengthy period of time, allowing ample opportunity for an elbowing. Their appearance also did cross over with Kochie’s. In Martha’s defence, however, the red carpet was packed, and a rogue elbow may have been the result of an accident.
