There were 182 entries. 130,000 voters. Some very detailed photographs. And finally, this week, a winner.
Nell, 27, from the UK officially has the 'World’s Most Beautiful Vagina'.
So… Since when is this contest even a thing and how the hell do you win it?
Well, of course, the whole thing was sponsored by a sex toy manufacturer – Brian Sloan, the creator of the simulated blow job machine the 'Auto Blow 2'. They put out a worldwide call for ladies to send in pics of their vajayjays. 182 responded to the call. Then, 130,000 people had to judge each picture from 1 to 10, 1 being the worst and 10 being the best.

Nell, the winner, ended up with a score of 7.7, while the woman in last place scored just 1.8. The first prize was $5000, the second prize was $2500 (Jenny from Bavaria – 7.3) and the third prize was $1250 (Anita from Hungary – also 7.3). Each lady in the top three has very, very neat-looking, completely hairless, special places.
It’s interesting to note that of 182 entrants, only three had pubic hair, and the highest-ranked vagina with pubic hair was number 73. Not even the top 50! Also interesting – an entrant with visible labia minora (the inside lips) doesn’t appear until number 8.

Well, I can almost hear the groan as I write this but I couldn't see one vagina - maybe the entrance to a few who were holding themselves apart. What is wrong with the word 'vulva'? We are bringing up a generation of women who didn't know the correct name for their body parts!
Apart from that, who are these people who take photos of their 'PRIVATE' (ha, ha) parts? If it were for scientific or educational purposes, I would applaud them. But for a SEX TOY COMPANY prize as part of a promotion for a blow job toy...the mind boggles.
Some looked suspiciously as if they had been operated on. I often wonder if one splits apart during childbirth if you have sliced your labia minora off. Those soft, sensuous folds which swell and open ready for intercourse when aroused, and during childbirth when aroused in a very different way, are a beautiful part of a woman's anatomy (relished by any men I've had sex with).
How did women get to think their vulvas were hairy and ugly and distasteful the way they are?
Competitions like this wouldn't help!
Someone should re publish the porn of 40 years ago. Would be interesting for all and young men would get to see what pubic hair looks like.
After opening this file I yelled to my husband in the other room, "Come see these vaginas!" and he ran here so fast, obviously confused and intrigued! We haven't done anything like this before!
We went through them quickly.. it was a funny thing to do together and lucky I didn't enter because I think I'd have knocked out 1st place - but our privacy is worth more than $5000. :)
