The Spill: Friday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. “He deserves much better.” Elsa Pataky has some feelings about Liam Hemsworth’s break up with Miley Cyrus.

Model and actress Elsa Pataky, who is also the wife of Aussie star Chris Hemsworth, has said Liam Hemsworth “deserves much better” following his split from Miley Cyrus.

Speaking to Hola! magazine while in Madrid for the launch of a lingerie line, Pataky spoke about Liam’s split from the singer.

“My brother-in-law, well … After a relationship that you’ve dedicated ten years to, he’s a little bit down, but he’s coping well,” Pataky told the reporter.

“He’s a strong boy and he deserves the best, I think he deserves much better.”

“You always find support in your family, and he’s joined at the hip with his brother, who has been there to give all the strength he needed,” she added.

"Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers," a statement from the couple read at the time.

Liam and Miley announced their divorce in August this year, after less than a year of marriage and after 10 years of dating on-again-off-again.

Miley Cyrus is now dating Australian singer Cody Simpson.

2. Chelsie McLeod is... definitely throwing shade at Matt Agnew on Instagram.

Less than a week after announcing their breakup on Instagram, we sense some social media tension between the 2019 Bachelor winner, Chelsie McLeod, and her ex-partner, Matt Agnew.

In her second post since their split, the 28-year-old shared a #throwback photo with her former Bachelor contestants, Nichole Wood, Helena Sauzier, and Sogand Mohtat, with what could be interpreted as a pretty loaded caption.

"Take the good with the bad," she wrote.

Of course, 'the bad' could have been a reference to a number of things. The photo in question was from a group date in which they went sky-diving, and maybe she really enjoyed the experience, but hated the blue jump suit. Maybe, unbeknown to us, prior to posting 'the gram' she had indulged in a dirty street pie and was suffering the effects of a bad tummy.

We just don't know.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Either way, she's since received comments of support from several Bachie alumni. Helena, Nichole, and Sogand all left their heart-emoji-filled comments, as did Kristen Czyszeck, Abbie Chatfield, and Isabelle Davies.

3. "You are maddening!" There's some new insight into The Veronicas 18 month feud.

It's time. We finally get to find out why The Veronicas were feuding for 18 months.

A teaser for the third episode of their reality TV show, The Veronicas: Blood Is For Life, was uploaded to MTV Australia's Instagram page today alongside the caption, "The episode we have all been waiting for."

It captures a snippet of the two Aussie singers in a heated argument backstage before their show in New York for Pride.

The argument bounces back and forth as the two sisters making snarky remarks towards one another.

"Jessie, well done. I know you've done a lot of therapy and you've learnt a lot of great buzzwords, but honestly save it for someone else dude," Lisa says.

While Jess replied in shock, "You are maddening. Like... wow. That's all I'm going to say."

Lisa finishing the conversation by saying, "That would be awesome if that's all you're going to say! Stop now."

Oh wow, we want to know more. Lots more.

The episode airs on MTV Australia this Sunday at 6pm and we can't bloody wait.

4. Apparently we're getting a new Queen on The Crown. And it's Professor Umbridge from Harry Potter.

We're barely a minute into season three of The Crown, and already there are rumours as to who the next Queen Liz will be.

Currently the role of Queen Elizabeth II is being portrayed by Olivia Coleman, who took over from Claire Foy. Now, the Daily Mail reports there are whispers Imelda Staunton has been tipped to take over the role from Coleman.

And if her name doesn't ring any bells, this image sure will.

Staunton is most widely known for her portrayal as the villainous Professor Dolores Umbridge in the 2007 film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. If true, this won't be her first royal role either, the 63-year-old has also portrayed the Queen Mother (that's Queen Elizabeth II's mother) in the BBC2 series Cambridge Spies. She's also appeared in Downton AbbeyMaleficent: Mistress of Evil, as well as the Paddington series.

Despite this, the big wigs at Netflix don't seem too keen on the rumour. Speaking to Deadline, the streaming service have refuted the claims, adding that they've yet to commission a fourth, or fifth season.

“We are currently filming season four of The Crown but have not commissioned any further seasons yet, therefore any news on casting remains pure speculation,” read the statement.

This season of The Crown will document the years from mid-1960s to the late-1970s, with season four exploring up to the mid-1980s.

You can watch the 10-episode season on Netflix now.

5. Jason Derulo just shared a photo and we're 99% sure we can see his... peen.

I feel confused in my soul because I’m pretty sure I just saw Jason Derulo’s penis without… consenting to.

It all started early on Friday afternoon with an Instagram post. Singer-songwriter Jason Derulo (or Jaysssonnn Derrrruleeooo) shared a photo of himself wearing nothing but a pair of very tight black undies, with the caption 'Good mornin''.

Good mornin' to you, sir.

While the 30-year-old is very intensely staring down the barrel of the camera, humans with eyes found their attention drawn to a distinctive bulge on the right side of his underwear.

It was a bulge. Where his penis. Should be.

Upon second thought, the bulge is, unequivocally, the man's penis.

It's a lot.
