Weddings are romantic and all, but the pressure sometimesdoesthings to people.

Mother-in-laws occasionally go rogue and why did the best man mention his ex-wife during his speech?

As tragic as weddings can sometimes be, we salivate over wedding fails. And so does Jimmy Fallon, it turns out.

How much should a wedding dress cost? We ask women to share their opinion.

On Thursday, the comedian asked people to share their own #weddingfails on Twitter. And the people…delivered.

“It’s Hashtags time! Tag a tweet with #WeddingFail and then tell us a funny or weird story from a wedding you were at. Could be on the show!” he wrote in the tweet.

Before my wedding, the best man told me I shouldn’t marry his best friend. I never got along with the best man and, of course, got married. Now, I’m divorced from my first husband and I’m now happily married to the former best man. I guess I should have listened! #WeddingFail

At my wedding, my sis spilled a glass of red wine all over my wedding dress. Only 2 people there knew how to get rid of the stain – both chemical engineers. I decided right then what I wanted to do with my life; now I’m getting my PhD in engineering. #weddingfail #careerwin

My uncle was getting married and his best friend and brother was his best man. Rather than handing him the ring he handed him car keys and said “get out while you still can.” With a strait face he walked out of the church. He is divorced now. #weddingfail

The stage was lined w/ candles. My grandma & her bff were talking near there when the backside of her dress caught a small fire and burned a hole in her buttocks area. She had to sit during the remainder of the reception to hide her exposed cheek #WeddingFail

I was a bridesmaids in my cousins wedding. The photographer had us do a jumping pose for a picture. Needless to say it didn’t end well. I fell, rolled down the hill, got grass stains on my dress and destroyed my bouquet. #weddingfail

My friend got married on the beach and wanted to zip line to the altar. He didn’t test before and it turned out he was too heavy for the line. He was dragged through rocks and sand for the last 10 seconds. Ripped the pants off of his tux. #WeddingFail

#WeddingFail I was performing a wedding ceremony and the groom said the bride’s sister’s name during the vows. Things went downhill from there.

A friend had her uncle make a homemade champagne fountain for her ceremony. He wasn’t aware that ingesting copper makes people sick. Everyone who toasted with champagne got violently ill including the bride and groom. #WeddingFail

I had a friend who showed up to my wedding dressed in a matching bridesmaid dress and tried to grab the toss bouquet to walk down the aisle. I had to awkwardly tell her before walking down the aisle that I didn’t have her as a bridesmaid #WeddingFail

Long live the sanctity of marriage.

For more wedding horror stories:

“I was outraged”. A woman stormed out of a wedding reception because the menu was split by gender.

“You’re pretty normally.” Sara was invited to a wedding, then received texts about her hair.

A best man started a ‘break-up bet’ at his best friend’s wedding and it did not end well.

Seyi attended a destination wedding. The next day, the bride asked her for more money.
