The Spill: Sunday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. Oh. Roxy Jacenko and Jackie O incidentally shared how much they spent on their Christmas trees this year and our eyes are watering.

Well. It turns out celebrities spend an eye-watering amount on their Christmas decorations and we’re… in shock.

You see, Roxy Jacenko and Jackie O both posted pictures of their Christmas trees to their Instagram feeds and yes, they’re very aesthetically pleasing.

Take a look for yourselves:

Both women tagged the same company in their Christmas tree posts, Dancer & Dasher. Yep, the A-list Aussie celebrities outsourced the decorating of their luxurious Christmas trees.

And according to Sydney Morning Herald, who spoke to the company’s co-founder Alana Arena, the trees cost just under $5,000 to build and decorate.

That takes Christmas expenditure to a whole new level.

2. “I got so drunk I passed out in one of the toilet stalls.” Margot Robbie on what the Logies are really like.

Australian actress Margot Robbie has explained the Logie Awards to American talk-show host Jimmy Kimmel in a hilarious interview.

Robbie, who previously acted in Neighbours, attended the Australian awards ceremony in 2010 and explained to Kimmel and his audience that she thought she had died because she had drunk so much at the Logies.

“Everyone gets absolutely hammered,” she recalled. “People are drunk the next day going to work.

“I was 18, so of course I was very excited about going to the Logies,” the now-29-year-old continued. “The second year I went, I got so drunk I passed out in one of the toilet stalls.”

“I woke up and it happened to be in the one hour that the [venue] is closed for cleaning. There was no one there, and it was such a weird surreal experience,” the I, Tonya actress laughed.

“For a second, I was like, ‘Did I die? Is this purgatory? Am I in between heaven and hell right now? This is so weird” she said.

“I showed up to work [on Neighbours] then in my gown, and a nurse had to give me some oxygen and I felt great afterwards.”

Kimmel found the saga hilarious, as they both agreed award shows are not like that in America.

3. Awww. Prince George is the picture of cuteness in new photos released by the palace.

The royal family have shared new photos featuring four generations of the family cooking Christmas puddings.

In the new photos shared by the palace, Queen Elizabeth is joined by her three heirs – son Prince Charles, grandson Prince William and great-grandson Prince George – at Buckingham Palace.

The family came together to create four Christmas puddings, which will be the centrepieces at next year’s Legion Christmas events, in a new initiative which provides extra support to the Armed Forces around Christmas.

Of course, all eyes were on six-year-old Prince George in the newly released photos, who somehow managed to stir the pudding without getting it on his shirt… which is a feat we haven’t yet succeeded. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

“I was genuinely walking through an airport and I suddenly started having what I can only believe to be a panic attack brought on by complete exhaustion,” she said.

“I was on my own, I was on the phone to my mum saying, ‘I feel like I can’t breathe, I don’t know what’s going on,'” she added.

“I’m there and the tears are coming out. I’m crying and crying, this guy’s like, ‘Can I get a selfie?’ And I was like, ‘I can’t breathe, I’m really sorry. Just having a minute.’ It was after a few moments like that where I was like, ‘I don’t know how to do this.'”

Following the encounter, the 33-year-old shared that she would prefer to engage in more “human-to-human” interactions with her fans in the future – including signing autographs.

“I started to say, ‘I’m not going to take a photo, but I will sign something’. Because as soon as you sign something, you have to have an interaction with that person. As opposed to someone just going, ‘Oi, give us a selfie,’ and then goodbye, it turns into, ‘Right, what’s your name? Who am I making it out to?'” she explained.

“And then you have a little chat, and then you’re actually having a truthful human-to-human thing, as opposed to being this other thing which probably isn’t nice for them and probably isn’t nice for you.”

5. Kate Middleton’s chic wrap dress may have sold out, but here are 11 alternatives for under $100.

When royal fans saw Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’s floral wrap dress in a leaked copy of this year’s royal Christmas’ card, they – well, we – got excited.

See, she, Prince William and their three children (Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis) were all wearing coordinating shades of blue. And, upon closer inspection, the Duchess’ dress turned out to be a very affordable $110 Aurora Midi Wrap Dress from UK label Boden.

On sale from $220, the versatile midi dress features 3/4 sleeves, a flattering v-neck and a customisable fabric tie at the waist – perfect for multiple servings of Chrissie ham and pavlova.
