The crazy rumour about Meghan Markle's first marriage that has us seriously baffled.

Ahem.

It seems we’ve found the most baffling rumour about Meghan Markle to date.

You see, according to a “close friend” of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan had some, erm, interesting terms during her first marriage to Trevor Engelson.

According to DailyMailTV, Meghan reportedly asked her ex-husband to sign a “pregnancy contract”.

Uh, what?

We’re really scratching our heads at this one, guys.

The publication reported that Meghan's pregnancy contract involved 'demands' for her former husband to pay for a personal trainer, a nutritionist and a nanny if she fell pregnant to ensure she'd stay in shape for her role on Suits.

"It came up at a time when they were considering having a family, at some point in the near future," a 'close friend' of the Duchess reportedly told DailyMailTV.

"She knows the heavy-weighted body type runs in her family and has always been terrified of putting on extra pounds, particularly given her career at the time," the source continued.

"She demanded a personal trainer and nutritionist during and after the pregnancy.

"I'm sure a nanny was discussed too, but the main focus for her was on health and weight.

"Meghan may have only just joined the Royal Family, but she always wanted to be treated like a princess."

Right...

Meghan and her first husband met in 2004. They became engaged in 2010 before tying the knot in 2011.

The pair did not have children together and finalised their divorce in 2014.

Like Meghan, Trevor has since moved on from the ill-fated marriage. The 42-year-old film director married nutritionist Tracey Kurland earlier this month.

Why are you "seriously baffled" over this?

When your story involves the phrase ‘a close friend who told the Daily Mail’, you can expect pretty much everything that follows to be utter bollocks. Come on,Mamamia. You *know* how these tabloids and gossip mags work, you *know* that 90% of what they say is completely made up. Why are you giving them even the slightest hint of credibility?

When it's the source for half the stories here these days, I sort of understand it.

I noticed that too, sometimes with almost the exact same wording! Weird, right? I just assume they’re writing from the same press release or something.

The things it takes to reply sometimes. I'd say that's a safe assumption to make hahaha

Ah, Guestington, you just missed Funbun again! You know, now that I think about it, I’ve never seen you two in the same room at the same time...
