1. “It is a police matter.” Ben Ungermann finally addresses his sudden exit from MasterChef.

Ben Ungermann, runner-up ofMasterChefseason nine, has finally spoken about his sudden exit from the MasterChef kitchen.

In March, it was confirmed that Ben had been removed from this season ofMasterChef: Back To Winbecause he had been arrested by police due to an incident of a “personal nature”.

A spokesperson from the show’s production company, Endemol Shine, told 10 daily: “We can confirm Ben Ungermann has left theMasterChef Australiacompetition. As this is a police matter, we will not be making further comment.”

While Ben is still yet to speak publicly about his arrest, he did reply to an Instagram comment about how his exit will be covered by the show.

“I’m actually devastated,” one fan commented on his Instagram. “How do they edit you out?”

“That’s up toMasterChef Australia. Appreciate the support,” he replied.

So far, Ben has appeared in the first three episodes ofMasterChef: Back To Winand will reportedly appear on the show for at least another month, according to news.com.au.

Ben first appeared onMasterChefin 2017 and finished second place behind Diana Chan.

After the show, he launched Ungermann Brothers, an ice cream parlour, alongside his brother Danny in Ipswich. The business also recently opened a second parlour on the Gold Coast.

2. “We got him out.” Chris Hemsworth (may have) just taken a subtle swipe at Miley Cyrus.

During an interview for his upcoming movie, Chris Hemsworth might’ve subtly referenced his brother’s recent split with pop superstar, Miley Cryus.

Speaking to news.com.au this week about his new Netflix filmExtraction,Hemsworth explained that he thinks his baby brother Liam Hemsworth might actually be fitter than him.

“I think he’s done it,” said Hemsworth.

“Did you see theMen’s Healthcover? I thought, ‘Not bad kid. Not bad’.

“He’s out there training and staying fit, and back in Australia doing his thing. It’s Australian living, I guess.”

And then the subtle (or not-so-subtle dig)… “We got him out of Malibu!” he added.

Malibu, California is where Liam Hemsworth resided with Miley Cyrus before their split in August 2019. She even wrote a song about their love back in 2017 and named it ‘Malibu’.

Subtle. Very subtle Chris.

3. Oh. Turns out Stacey already knew about Michael and his money way before MAFS.

Oh wow. Just when we thought all the drama was over from this year’sMarried at First Sight,we’ve been served new, juicy information.

This time, it’s about Stacey Hampton and Michael Goonan. And oddly, there are no surprises there.

Stacey has just revealed that she actually knew exactly who her (fake) husband Michael Goonan was before the show. Meaning, those shocked facial expressions at the alter, might not have been as real as we thought.

During a recent Instagram Live with radio personality Bryce Ruthven, she announced that she knew plenty about Goonan (including his multi-million dollar ice business) before the reality TV show began.

"I already knew about Michael and his family and his money before going on the show. You need to understand that Adelaide is small, very small," she said.

She continued to share that his friends were also friends with her ex-partner.

"So his friends are mutual friends with my ex and that, yeah," she said.

What a small world!

4. It must be the 2000s because Britney Spears just called Justin Timberlake a “genius”.

For a moment there today, we thought our self-isolated brains had lost it because 2000's power couple Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were back in the headlines again. Yep, she did it again.

Britney shared a video of her dancing to ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake's song 'Filthy' on Instagram earlier today. And it got us seriously reminiscing.

"This is my version of Snapchat or TikTok or whatever the cool thing you're supposed to do these days! As you can see I'm not really dancing folks…… I'm just very bored," she captioned the post.

She then proceeded to call her ex-boyfriend a straight-up genius.

"PS I know we had one of the world's biggest breakups 20 years ago …… but hey the man is a genius! Great song JT."

Justin responded to the shout-out by commenting a series of emojis on the post.Very cute.
