Celeb in 5: Friday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. The moment Tziporah Malkah snapped at David Campbell and Sonia Kruger on live TV.

Tziporah Malkah, formerly known as Kate Fischer, appeared on Channel Nine’s Today Extra on Friday morning, and she didn’t like what she saw.

Appearing on the show to discuss her involvement with homeless charity White Caravan, the former model was frustrated when they began to show footage from her former life, including images of herself and ex-fiancée James Packer.

Co-host David Campbell then said to Malkah “I asked you about how you felt when people flash up those photos about your past and you said…?”

Looking visibly annoyed, the 44-year-old responded “Why are you doing it?”

“When people put me on show and go, ‘Look how beautiful she once was, young and skinny and rich and now look at her now – old, fat and used to be homeless.’”

The former model further explained that it isn’t her life anymore, so she doesn’t feel the need to constantly address it.

“I think I’ve got a lot more to talk about.”

The woman makes a pretty good point.

2. According to reports Reese Witherspoon and Ellen Degeneres are locked in an “ugly feud”.

Soooo, apparently Reese Witherspoon and Ellen Degeneres are currently engaged in a nasty feud over who is the ultimate talk show host queen.

Yep, it's as ridiculous as it sounds, but this post is a round up of celebrity gossip, so let's go with it and take things with a grain (or bucket load) of salt.

According to GLOBE, Reese is on a crusade to become the overlord of daytime TV with her new show Shine On with Reese, which of course means taking down current champ Ellen and her show... Ellen.

"Right now, Shine On doesn't have anywhere near the reach of Ellen's talk show. But Reese has much bigger plans. She wants to get absolutely tip-top A-listers like her friend Jennifer Aniston," an "insider" told the publication.

"Reese is ruthless... Ellen wants to fight fire with fire."

Considering both women have built careers on lifting up others, we can't imagine them fighting to the death over a TV show.

But hey, stranger things have happened, no?

3. Justin Bieber has explained why he and fiancée Hailey Baldwin keep crying in public.

Last week, images of newly engaged celebrity couple Justin Beiber and Hailey Baldwin crying surfaced, causing mild concern over whether getting married is the best idea for them.

Now, the 24-year-old singer has explained why they were so upset, and it involves somepretty wise revalations about life etc.

Speaking to TMZ on Wednesday, Justin said it all came down to the ups and downs of life in 2018.

"You got good days and you got bad days," he said while holding a book about marriage.

"It’s not real if it doesn’t have any bad days."

Don't worry, Justin, we have bad days too.

4. Macaulay Culkin has some scathing things to say about The Big Bang Theory.

Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin has revealed that he turned down a role on hit series The Big Bang Theory three times.

Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Culkin said he passed on the opportunity every time.

"They pursued me for The Big Bang Theory and I said no. It was kind of like, the way the pitch was, 'Alright, these two astrophysicist nerds and a pretty girl lives with them. Yoinks!' That was the pitch. And I was like, 'Yeah, I’m cool, thanks.' And then they came back at me again, and I said, 'No, no, no. Again, flattered, but no.' Then they came back at me again, and even my manager was like twisting my arm."

The Big Bang Theory is now in its 12th season, and its stars are some of the highest paid in Hollywood. Despite this, Culkin does not regret turning down the offers.

"I'd have hundreds of millions of dollars right now if I did that gig," he said.

"At the same time, I'd be bashing my head against the wall."

5. Ten years ago she was the host of The Biggest Loser, so where is Ajay Rochester now?

Ten years ago, Ajay Rochester was a very famous face on our television screens as host of The Biggest Loser.

Rochester presented the show during its peak with ratings from 2006 to 2009, when it was averaging over a million views each night.

However since departing from the popular weight-loss show, she has dipped in and out of the public eye, and in the past couple of years has remained relatively removed from the Australian entertainment industry.

So we’ve done some research and had a deep dive into what Ajay Rochester has been up to since hosting The Biggest Loser, and it seems it’s certainly been a bumpy road.

Thankfully, in 2018 things seem to be looking up.

It's fine if Tziporah doesn't want to talk about her old life any more but then why does she chase media attention when she knows that's exactly what they're going to want to talk about?

In her hey-day, Tziporah Malkah was famous for being famous - she didn't really do much apart from date James Packer, appear at celebrity parties and model. If she wants people to quit talking about those days, she needs to do more today to be talked about, so people have something new to focus upon.
