A woman went into labour during Pink's concert and it's not the first time this has happened.

Call me old-fashioned but if there's one place I can't imagine most people want to give birth, it's on a stadium floor, in the middle of a concert.

To be fair, though, it might not exactly have been in the birth plan for one new Sydney mum, who went into labour mid-way through Pink's show at Sydney's Moore Park Stadium on Friday night. (Although, getting a shoutout and some words of encouragement from your favourite singer while you push out a baby — that's pretty epic.)

Watch: Pink preps for her Australia tour. Post continues below.

Singer Pink kicked off the Australian leg of her Summer Carnival Tour on Friday, February 9, in Sydney, and the opening show was made all the more memorable when she stopped mid-tune, about 40 minutes in.

"We need a medic! Somebody's having a baby?" the performer said, after being alerted to a woman going into labour near the front row.

A second call for help saw the three-time Grammy award winner stop the show again. "I've got to stop, I'm a mum," told fans. "I will 'mum' ALL of you."

The dramatic event was captured by many in the crowd, who quickly shared it on social media (because it's 2024 and that's what we... do, right?).

As for the new mum, she was reportedly taken out of the concert in a wheelchair and there's no word yet as to how the birth went (or if she's, ya know, peeved to have missed half the show). But it turns out she's not the first woman to go into labour at a Pink show and no, we're not even kidding.

On her July 31 tour stop in Boston, Massachusetts, Pink spurred another baby into action, when pregnant concertgoer Angela Mercer went into labour during the show.

Angela, who was 31 weeks pregnant at the time, was enjoying the opening of the concert with her mum and sister-in-law when she began to feel strong contractions.

"With all the traffic surrounding [the area] for the concert, Angela had trouble finding a ride to the hospital," read a statement from Brigham and Women's Hospital. "She and her family decided the fastest way to get to Brigham and Women's was to walk and so, decked out in their concert outfits, they made the trek to our hospital, where Angela later delivered her son in the Brigham's NICU."

And yes, this mum definitely did give Pink a nod in her naming, dubbing her new son Aycen Hart. (Pink legally took her husband Carey Hart's last name after the pair married in 2006.)

We can't wait to find out whether this Aussie mum follows suit – and yes, we'll keep you posted.
