I was just looking at one of the women here and didn't recognise her, but her face made me feel really powerful hatred and I couldn't figure out why.

I couldn't quite figure out why I was hating her so much just on sight, and her name didn't ring any bells, so I looked her up on Wikipedia and was instantly reminded.
She was the wife of the slave owner played by Michael Fassbender in 12 Years a Slave. If anyone hasn't seen this movie, I can say that it is a movie that I never ever ever want to see again. Absolutely horrendous film, but unfortunately, probably a pretty decent reflection of reality from the time of slavery in the United States.
