1. The Bachelorette’s Jackson would “bet his house” on a very unexpected winner.

Recently-eliminated contestant Jackson Garlick has revealed who he believes will end up with Bachelorette Angie Kent. It’s currently between finalists Ryan Anderson, Timm Hanly and Carlin Sterritt.

Please, everyone be be quiet.

Jackson, we are listening.

Although Carlin is the clear favourite to receive Angie’s final rose, Jackson believes it’s someone unexpected.

“If I had to put my house on it, if I had to take out a mortgage, I would put my money on Timm,” he told Now To Love.

“I just think that his personality is so infectious and the way he makes Angie laugh is like no other, you know? And she’s the same.”

Talking to Mamamia, Jackson added, "We became good mates. It’s hard not to get along with him, he lights up a room."

The 25-year-old psychology student also told Mamamia he was not surprised to be left standing without a rose at the end of Thursday's episode.

“I kind of did expect it, even thought I was gutted,” he said.

“I was anticipating going home because I could just tell with Angie that she hadn’t received enough from me about how I felt. The other hometowns were just as rocky, but there was some massive doubt in my mind and I’m a realist.”

Side note... Angie Kent spilled to Mamamia about her relationship with her winner. Post continues below video.

2. Casey Donovan and Vanessa Amorosi will compete for a spot in Eurovision. And it’s officially 2004 again.

In fabulous news, Casey Donovan and Vanessa Amorosi have confirmed they will compete for a spot in Eurovision in 2020.

And 'Absolutely Everybody' is excited.

They are the first singers to be confirmed by SBS, who will broadcast the second annual Eurovision - Australia Decides competition in February next year. (In 2018, viewers voted Kate Miller-Heidke as our national representative, with her song 'Zero Gravity'. She placed ninth.)

"I'm so excited to be a part of Eurovision – Australia Decides after opening the show and seeing the amazing talent," Donovan, who rose to fame on Australian Idol in 2004, told SBS.

"I can't wait to share the stage with some of Australia's most talented singers. And I mean Vanessa Amorosi… She's my idol! I love her!"

Amorosi, who has been in Australia's music industry for 20 years now, told SBS: "Listen to my new album Back to Love, released today, and see if you can guess which song [I'll perform].

"I am so incredibly excited to be part of Eurovision – Australia Decides 2020. I am a proud Aussie and to have the opportunity to sing one of my songs on a huge international stage representing Australia would be unforgettable," Vanessa added.

BRB, we are listening to her new album.

3. 'We will miss her.' Kourtney Kardashian announces she is taking a break from Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Kourtney Kardashian has announced that she is taking a break from Keeping Up With The Kardashians. And to be honest, we didn't know they could do that??

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 40-year-old confirmed the news, stating that she wants to devote more of her time to being a mum to her three kids - Mason, Penelope and Reign Disick.

“I just decided to spend more time as a mum and put more of my energy there. But I’m not saying goodbye," she said.

"I think you’ll have to see more of it on the new season, season 18," she continued, and yes, that is what we call 'a hook'.

While we're sad to see her go, we'll always remember the oldest Kardashian sister for her sass, and that iconic time she reminded Kim that there are "people that are dying" when she lost her diamond earring (and her mind) during a family holiday in Bora Bora.

Oh well, at least we still have Poosh.

4. The Gossip Girl revival is bringing back a key cast member.

Attention Upper-Eastsiders, the Gossip Girl remake is currently in the works, and we have a confirmed cast member.

Headbands may have come and gone, but the dulcet tones of Kristen Bell narrating low-key acts of cyberbullying will continue. Never mind that Gossip Girl was actually Dan Humphries (sorry, spoilers).

Announcing her return, the original creators of the series, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage released a joint statement with the series' new show runner, Joshua Safran.

“Kristen Bell has always been and will always be the voice of Gossip Girl,” they said.

And we couldn't agree more.

At this point it looks as if Bell will be the only returning cast member, the new series is not so much a reboot, but a continuation of the cult teen hit.

The new series is set to drop in 2020, and will follow a new group of Manhattan elites. However, Schwartz said he's completely open to the former ensemble making a guest appearance.

"We've reached out to all of them to let them know it was happening, and we would love for them to be involved if they want to be involved. But [we] certainly didn’t want to make it contingent upon their [participation]," he told the Television Critics Association earlier this year.

"They played those characters for six years, and if they felt like they were good with that, we wanted to respect that. But obviously, it would be great to see them again."

5. "I thought my time was up": Karl Stefanovic is officially returning to Today. Yes. Really.

The rumours of Karl Stefanovic returning to the Today Show, which he was axed from last year,  have dominated celebrity and entertainment headlines for the past week.

And now it's confirmed: Stefanovic will co-host the Channel Nine morning show once more.

In an exclusive interview with The Sydney Morning Herald, Karl confirmed he will return to the program in early 2020.

“Yes, I am as shocked about this as everyone else,” he said. (And look… same.)

“It’s not something that I thought would come up again. I thought my time was up, but then, when I was sounded out about it, it got me thinking.

“It’s a big job with enormous pressures and I know only too well some of those pitfalls, but it is also without question the best live TV job in Australia.”

However, The Australian have reported that Karl will be taking a major cut to his rumoured $2 million-plus former salary.
