After kicking a couple off MKR, a Facebook message landed in Manu Feildel's inbox.

SPOILER ALERT

After promising drama to Australian viewers for months, we now know which My Kitchen Rules couple has been kicked out.

While some fans said that this was a bit of a cheeky “drag out” on the network’s behalf – tonight is the night that viewers will finally be able to see the unceremonious departure of best friends Sonya and Hadil after a particularly nasty exchange of words with sister duo Jess and Emma.

Because the thing is once you call someone a "honey blowfish" on national television there's really no going back.

While it will make for very, very good television, judge Manu Feildel has told The Daily Telegraph that one of the evicted contestants actually reached out to him on Facebook after their exit from the show.

“I got a message on Facebook from one of the people apologising for this and that,” he told the publication, unflinching on his decision.

“But it’s their life and their reputation and it’s not going to affect me the rest of my life."

The French chef defended the decision he and fellow judge Pete Evans made and says that he hopes it will serve as a warning to future contestants.

“I really don’t care what their excuse was because there’s no excuse for this type of behaviour," Manu said.

"I just hope we’ve sent a message to future contestants that that’s not the type of contestants we want in the show. We want cooks. Don't come for a catfight"

Meanwhile, contestants Jess and Emma told The Daily Telegraph they're looking to the altercation finally airing.

"Yes, we might be slightly painful and over the top but we weren’t kicked out. So we’re looking forward to it only for that reason.”

And drama there was... with the pivotal walk out scene delivering the drah-ma (and then some) that we've been waiting all season for.

MKR is a cooking show?? Give me a break! if you want to watch a cooking show then stick to Masterchef, MKR is purely a reality show where there are clearly contestants who are picked purely on the controversy they’re willing to stir up. You can’t tell me that these people are the best home cooks Australia has to offer and if Manu actually thinks he’s judging a real cooking contest then he’s deluded.

I'm glad the judges stepped up and took control of the situation. On their way out they said the others can dish out but not take it, yet they threatened not just one but many contestants around the table and disrespected the judges. Hmmm and now they're attacking channel 7. Wow it's embarrassing ladies own your faults and admit you both are BULLIES. Can't tolerate that, I hope they don't let you both back in. There's more cooks out there that do deserve a place on our tv shows
