celebrity

We've just remembered Rob Kardashian... exists. This is what his life looks like now.

Sometimes, a familiar name pops up on the internet that instantly makes us think “wait, where on earth have they been hiding?!”

It’s not often we forget about celebrities, so this can be quite confronting for us.

And today, that celebrity is a forgotten Kardashian.

One that isn’t constantly seen wearing naked dresses and breaking the internet with cheating scandals each week.

One that we’ve, sadly, not thought about in a really long time.

Rob.

Yes, somewhere in the ether, ROB KARDASHIAN STILL EXISTS. He even had a birthday on the weekend.

… And he’s coming back to Keeping up with The Kardashians season 16. Check out the trailer below.

So we thought, why not check up on ol’ Rob following his day of birth, if not to remind ourselves of his ~dramas~ of yesteryear we once cared so much about?

Firstly, we feel it’s important to brush up on where he fits in the family, because the Kardashian family tree is a complicated beast.

Rob, who turns 32 today, is the youngest son of Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Kourtney, 39, Kim, 38 and Khloe, 34, are his full sisters, and Kendall Jenner, 23, and Kylie Jenner, 21, are his half sisters. Their dad is Caitlyn Jenner.

Got it? Cool.

Rob is probably best known for his tumultuous relationship with Blac Chyna and their very spicy reality show Rob & Chyna – his most high-profile relationship since dating Rita Ora in 2012.

The couple, who split in December 2016, have a two-year-old daughter Dream, as in we can only dream of a day the Kardashians stop naming their children after tattoos you might see in cursive on a 20-something's wrist.

Chyna and Rob's relationship notably caused tension within the Kardashian-Jenner family, mainly because Chyna, 30, is rapper Tyga’s ex, and the two have a five-year-old son together, King Cairo.

Chyna was previously close with Kim Kardashian West, though the friendship appeared to fizzle after Tyga started dating Kim’s sister Kylie Jenner.

...But following Rob and Chyna's split, "tension" turned into an all-out feud.

Chyna has even launched a lawsuit against the family, alleging they set out to "kill" her show Rob & Chyna.

According to one of her lawyers, Lisa Bloom, who spoke to ET Online last year, Chyna claimed the Kardashian-Jenner family "became media predators, slut-shaming her on social media and killing her hit television show" as a form of "revenge" for leaving her relationship with Rob.

Chyna also alleged that Rob verbally and physically assaulted her, allegations he has denied.

It comes after Rob Kardashian sued his ex-fiance in 2017, alleging she tried to strangle him with an iPhone charger.

Kylie Jenner was also involved, accusing Chyna of trashing her home and causing at least $100,000 worth of damage, according to The Blast.

But over the weekend, these swirling problems seemed miles away as Rob Kardashian re-emerged into the spotlight in celebration of his 32nd birthday, with a St Patrick's Day-themed party apparently planned by Dream which we don't believe for a second because she's two.

Posting to her Instagram story over the weekend, big sis Khloe documented the party, writing:

“Dreamy Dream wanted to throw her daddy a special birthday party before she goes to see her mommy. Her daddy’s birthday is on Sunday (St Patty’s Day) but she got her cousins together to celebrate!”

She then posted a series of photos that showed a table decorated with four-leaf clovers, cupcakes with green sprinkles and a cake with the words “Happy Birthday Daddy."

“Dream is great at throwing parties,” Khloé later added, "She picked out the decorations, created the invite list and everything."

Again. She's two.

The reality star also posted a tribute to her "hysterical" little bro, calling him her "best friend". Cute.

Kim also added a birthday tribute to her Instagram page:
