Mariah Carey's kids lose it on red carpet. She heroically continues to pose.

YAS KWEEEEEEN.

While receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday, Kween Diva Mariah Carey was faced with an irritating distraction. There she was, naturally draped over her star like the Kween Diva she is, posing perfectly, just LIVING as a Kween Diva, when some children decided to try and ruin the moment.

Her children.

Here she heroically trying to ignore them:

Seriously, do they not know that she’s MARIAH FUCKING CAREY and she is trying to diva right now?

She had them removed by security, obviously:

Can’t they just let her LIVE?

Watch the glorious video here:

This makes me so sad. I get that she's trying to celebrate a special moment, but as a mother it makes any moment of mine complete when my son is there with me. He's why I try, why I even get up in the morning. I would be no one without him because he's changed me to be the woman I am now. I know that occasionally we mummas need a break but that child is a little boy (The same age as mine) and is freaking out over everything that's going on. He's overwhelmed and the people that keep trying to take him away from his mother are actually just making it worse and making it so he wants her more. If she'd sat up slightly, pulled him to her and cuddled him, rubbed his back, stroked his hair and told him that it would be ok and that it was a happy day, everything would have gone SO much better. He just wanted a cuddle. Stiffly smiling and saying "Smile babies! SMILE!" through her teeth isn't going to make things better.

That's really upset me now. I know I shouldn't judge another's parenting, especially since I don't even know her, but god... Be warm with your babies. The love you give them when they are young shapes their views on Love for the rest of their lives.

You're reading an awful lot into 57 seconds of video.

I feel for her! This is a huge moment for her, not as a mother but as a pretty bloody succesful artist and she deserved to have a few moments glory for herself.

And I'm sure her three year olds understand that.

Of course, thats why I think her nannies should have done a better job keeping them distracted for 10 minutes so she could enjoy her moment. I follow her on Instagram, her kids are always with her so I dont think that would have been too much to ask.
