Lara Worthington has given birth to her second child.

Notoriously private model Lara Worthington has given birth to her second child, according to marie claire.

Lara and her actor husband Sam Worthington welcomed a son two weeks ago in New York, the magazine reports.

The newborn is a brother for 18-month-old Rocket Zot, who was born in March last year.

Appearing on the cover of the magazine’s December issue, the model told marie claire she was looking forward to giving baby Rocket a sibling.

“I’m excited about giving Rocket a sibling. Sam has a sister and I have a brother, so creating that same sense of family is special and I know they’ll have lots of fun together, especially being so close in age,” she said.

Worthington also revealed she and her husband share the parenting duties, with both ensuring they are hands-on with their children.

“Sam and I will share the routines with our newborn so that Rocket still gets one-on-one time with both of us. We’re a little team,” she said.

Speaking to Kyle and Jackie O last year, Worthington addressed her fierce sense of privacy around both her marriage and children.

“It’s too much these days. There’s no mystery. I’d never put my son out there. It’s not necessary.

“Both Sam and I understand it is by-product of our profession, but taking photos of my son without my consent is unacceptable,” she told the radio show.

There is no word on the baby’s name as yet, but we can be sure that Worthington won’t be spending her time spamming our social media.

*Notoriously private after she started dating, and then went on to marry and have babies with Sam Worthington

Yes, and even that's debatable. I think this faux-coy jag she's on now is just another way of getting attention. If she announces the baby's name now, everyone will move on fairly quickly. If she drags it out for a few weeks, she'll have a few weeks of people speculating on how she could possibly match the ridiculousness of Rocket Zot. Then she'll throw out some other minor thing, like a picture of his foot or the back of his head, and the media will salivate over this family once again until they get a picture of his face.

Oh absolutely. The woman knows how to "play-the-game"

Can you really call someone who has a reality show about their day-to-day life 'notoriously private'?

In this case, yes you can, because hardly anyone watched it. (I did; but I think I might have been the only one.)
