"She showed the crowd my penis." Katy Perry has been accused of sexual assault.

This post deals with sexual assault and might be triggering for some readers.

A male model who appeared in Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’ music video has accused the performer of sexual assault.

Josh Kloss, who appeared in the video as Katy Perry’s love interest, shared a post to Instagram, detailing an experience he had with the singer-songwriter which left him feeling “pathetic and embarrassed”.

In the post, Kloss claimed that he met up with Perry a few times after filming the music video, shortly after Perry had separated from Russell Brand.

“This one time I brought a friend who was dying to meet her,” Kloss recalled.

“It was Johnny Wujek’s birthday party at Moonlight Rollerway. And when I saw her, we hugged and she was still my crush. But as I turned to introduce my friend, she pulled my Adidas sweats and underwear out as far as she could to show a couple of her guy friends and the crowd around us my penis,” he continued.

“Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassed I felt? I just say this now because our culture is set on proving men of power are perverse. But females with power are just as disgusting.”

In another post, which appeared to show communications between Kloss and a member of Perry’s team, Kloss claimed that he was forced to “protect [Perry’s] image”.

“I was lorded over by her reps, about not discussing a single thing about anything regarding Katy publicly. And a couple of interviews they edited and answered for me,” he claimed.

“The fear sticks with you, when you are censored to protect someone else’s image,” he added.

“But in return, [you are] treated like a prostitute and exposed in front of a group of her friends and other random people.”

Kloss also claimed that he made just $650 for his appearance in the music video.

Although Katy Perry hasn’t yet responded to the claims, Johnny Wujek, costume designer for the singer, responded to Kloss’ posts.

“I’m not about to let you make accusations against my friend like this,” Wujek responded.

“This is such bullshit. Katy would never do something like that. We all know about your ongoing obsession with her since the day of filming that video,” he continued.

“You were writing her music. And planning an imaginary future with her. It’s not okay to do this to people who have done nothing but uplift and inspire others.”

It’s not the first time Katy Perry has been accused of crossing the line with men.

In 2018, the American Idol judge kissed a contestant on the show on the lips without consent.

For 19-year-old Benjamin Glaze, it was his very first kiss.

Speaking to the New York Times, Benjamin admitted that he was uncomfortable with the kiss.

“I wanted to save it for my first relationship,” he said. “I wanted it to be special.”

Likewise, in 2017, Perry was accused of groping then 17-year-old singer Shawn Mendes at a red carpet event. Later on, however, Mendes insisted that the groping never happened.

Katy has a bit of a reputation for this stuff, I believe him.

Whilst I love Katy Perry, and whether or not this is true, his story is correct that females in power (or in general) can be abusive too.
Whilst it may be underhanded and veiled in “girlish naivety” it can still be called abuse.
If this is true, I’m sorry you were sexually assaulted by Perry and then emotionally assaulted by her team.
If it isn’t true, well, I feel sad that you made up a story for fame.
But thanks for bringing to light that it’s not a male/female thing that causes abuse... it’s power play.
