With a simple Instagram post accompanied by a two-worded caption, Katy Perry sent the internet into a frenzy.
“Full bloom,” the 34-year-old American singer wrote.
And then came thousands sending their many congratulations.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!!” one Instagram user wrote.
“OMG Congratulations to you both!! I’m so happy for you, you found your other half. I LOVE YOU KATY,” wrote another.
“Favorite (sic) engagement ring I have EVER seen!!! Hands down,” someone said, referring to the unique flower engagement ring around Perry’s finger.
According to president of WP Diamonds Andrew Brown, the ring wasn’t cheap.
“Katy’s ring would retail in the range of $5 million,” he told E! News.
But there’s something else fans have noticed. And it’s that the ring looks quite familiar.
The flower style (because ‘Bloom’ get it?) is a similar design to the one Bloom gave Miranda Kerr back in 2010.
The Valentine's Day proposal comes after the pair dated sporadically since January 2016, after meeting and connecting instantly at the Golden Globes that year.
In February 2017, Perry and the 42-year-old British actor decided to break up, but rekindled their relationship in April of 2018.
Bloom and Perry have both previously been married - Bloom to model Miranda Kerr from 2010 to 2013, and Perry to comedian Russel Brand from 2010 to 2012.

Literally looks nothing like MIranda's engagement ring but okay. Different metal, different stones, different shape, one has multiple bands and the other has one...they're both vaguely flower-shaped and that's it.
I thought this was going to be about how it looks like the ring is on Katy's index finger. I'm trying to figure out if she's just holding her hand strangely and it actually is her ring finger but to me, it really doesn't look like it.
