The Spill: Friday's best entertainment and gossip news.

1. “Yes, I’ve had them done.” Elly Miles has shared what cosmetic procedures she had done before The Bachelor.

Former Bachelor favourite, Elly Miles, has spoken about getting Botox injections and a boob job, prior to entering the Bachelor mansion.

Sharing her answers in an Instagram Q&A, the 25-year-old registered nurse unapologetically made the admission.

“Yes, I’ve had them done. I had them done September 4, 2018,” she said, answering a question about the cosmetic procedure.

“Just over a year ago. The girls are one year old!.”

And a happy anniversary indeed.

Elly was also completely transparent about the fact that she also got Botox injections prior to going on the show. She explained that she wanted to conceal “four very distinct lines,” before seeking out the procedure. Despite this, she was adamant that her teeth are 100 per cent hers, and not the result of veneers.

“I got Botox just before going on because I could see in photos that I had four very distinct lines, and my makeup would set into it,” she said.

“When I was 18 or 19, my friend who is a beauty therapist said to me, ‘You need Botox’, and I was like “F**k you, no I don’t” … and I did need Botox.”

While we’re hesitant to say that anyone needs Botox, each to their own.

Earlier this year, the self-confessed country gal also shared with Mamamia her pared back, but effective skincare and makeup routine, and yes, it’s practically required reading for low-maintenance, glowing skin.

You’re welcome.

Is this the last we’ll see of The Bachelorette’s Ciarran? The Spill team discuss on today’s episode. Post continues below.

2. “The engagement’s not happening.” Jessica Mauboy just pulled off the best on-air prank.

Give Jessica Mauboy an Oscar, because the woman just pulled off the best on-air radio prank ever.

Appearing on KIIS FM’s Will & Woody show, the ‘Little Things’ singer flawlessly stitched up Woody Whitelaw into believing that she was no longer engaged to her fiance, Themeli Magripilis. Jess, 30, got engaged on a holiday in Greece last month, and yes, they are still very happily together.

Will, who organised the gag to trick his fellow co-host, told Jess: “He’ll bring it up and maybe say to him, ‘It’s off, I’m so sorry.’ And take the ring off?”

Later in the show, the unknowing host congratulated the singer on her engagement.

“One very positive thing that’s been happening with you Jess, is that you’re recently engaged, which is super exciting,” he began.

*Insert Jess looking awkward and a little miffed*

Playing directly into Will and Jess’s gag, Woody said: “Fun fact Jess, I’m actually a marriage celebrant… you might want to…” before Jess cut him off.

“Sorry, I thought your team would have told you maybe not to ask that question. Yeah sorry… so it’s not happening,” she said, before crying into her hands, with Woody looking utterly mortified.

He spent the next few minutes profusely apologising, taking his headphones off, and going over to comfort Jess, before she was ultimately undone by a case of the giggles.

But oh dear lord, it was absolute gold while it lasted.

3. There’s rumours that Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon will host Today show next year.

Karl Stefanovic, a.k.a. The Stefanovinator, a.k.a. Australia's inappropriate uncle, could be winding back his alarm clock in 2020.

The sacked Today host is rumoured to be returning to the program alongside journalist Allison Langdon, as part of a refreshed hosting lineup.

According to entertainment reporter, Julian Evans, who claims to have a source within the Nine Network, the news will formally be announced early in the new year. As for the current hosts, he claims Georgie Gardner will be shifted to Today Extra and Deborah Knight will remain anchor of the 6pm news on Fridays and Saturdays.

Speaking to Mamamia he told us that he hadn't been watching the show because reliving the events of a few months ago was pretty tough.

"Obviously [watching] it would bring back memories and emotions," he said. "I just watched a little bit then and it was pretty heartbreaking watching it, but it is what it is. I can't change what happened, it was a bit surreal."

The decision to leave was not an easy one for Ciarran, who thought about it over a number of days and believed he had the strongest connection with Angie at the time.

"It was all very difficult to do that because I felt like I was the frontrunner," he said.

"I just had enough with the drama at the cocktail party, and I was like 'I can't be bothered, I'm just going to bounce' but Angie saw me and was like 'What's going on?' and I told her everything... She was the same, family comes first."

And then he answered the question, all of Australia is currently hankering for: whether or not he would put his hand up to be The 2020 Bachelor... and his answer has restored our faith in love. Seriously.

Ummm... because people are obsessed with whether women on reality TV have had Botox or breast enlargement surgery.
