The best pro-choice protest we've seen this year involves a whole lot of glitter. And it's brilliant.

One congressman will think twice the next time he talks votes on abortion law.

A pro-choice activist sought the ultimate revenge on a United States congressman this week — by sending him a glitterbomb.

The protest against anti-choice regulations arrived in a pink envelope for Nebraska congressman Jeff Fortenberry this week, along with a letter which read:

“Congrats! You’ve earned this for trying to deny women their right to choice. Mind your own uterus. Love, GBFC.”

GBFC stands for “Glitter Bombs for Choice”, which was printed on the letterhead, The Guardian reports.

The act of glitter-bombing involves sending an envelope full of glitter to your greatest enemies. It does not involve any explosives or actual bombs — just a great, sparkling mess.

Congressman Fortenberry released a statement condemning the attack, saying:

“Anyone is free to disagree with me, but to resort to these tactics in a heightened threat environment is reckless and a waste of precious law enforcement resources.”

The Republican politician has previously condemned the “abortion industry” and was one of the 250 members of the US House of Representatives to vote for banning subsidies for health insurance that could cover abortions.

Good luck cleaning up that mess…

Who would you send a glitterbomb?

Yeah, except the congressman you're angry with isn't going to be the one to clean up the glitter. That's going to be his poor cleaning staff.

I've been tempted to send a glitter bomb to a certain family member who I've cut contact with.
