Not a bad list. Don't do cooking books, but I've read all the others apart from New Moon.
Surprising lack of fiction books for adults, only 3-4 (depending on how you classify Harry Potter)

Definitely.
I have to say I do read the mindless pulp on occasion.
Lee Child, Robert G Barrett, and that type. They pump out one book a year, it's the same people with the same issues just in a different place.
They are fun and provide a distraction for a short while.
