Adele tells Ellen what she was really feeling when everything went wrong at the Grammys.

Adele appeared on The Ellen Show this week to chase about her ill-fated Grammys performance.

The 25 singer told Ellen was so embarrassed she considered becoming a recluse, but thankfully thought better of it.

With her typical Adele humour she clarified again about that guitar-on-piano-strings disaster.

“Some people thought it was Bieber rehearsing, but it wasn’t him,” she joked. “We’re on great terms.”

“I woke up the next morning to people in England being like, ‘We still love you, don’t worry,'” she said.

“And I was like, ‘I didn’t ask you if you still loved me, but thanks!'”
