Miley Cyrus is the true champion of the Bette Midler and Kim Kardashian feud.

Twitter feuds come and go.

Sometimes you crack a 140 character gag and it sinks like a stone. Other times, if you happen to have upwards of 900,000 followers, your joke will set fire to the Twitterverse.

Yesterday, Bette Midler made a pretty funny joke about Kim Kardashian (if you missed it, you can read about it here) and it went down a treat with pretty much everyone except Kim Kardashian.

Watch Kim Kardashian take her best friend Jonathan around her expansive mansion (post continues after video).

If you missed the saga it went a bit like this: Kimmy posts nude selfie; Bette is underwhelmed, makes joke; Kim responds with more jokes, another nude;  people chime in and, now, Bette says Kim should learn to take a joke.

Look, to be honest, I think Kim has handled this whole non-drama pretty well (read more about this here).

Funny. Kim Kardashian gets jokes, okay Bette?

In order to keep the saga going, a few other celebs have chimed in sand started a little on-the-side feud of their own.

In a tweet which has now been deleted, actress Chloe Moretz said: “I truly hope you realize (sic) how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies.”

Which, unfortunately, made the whole thing take on a weird slut-shaming vibe.

Teen queen actress, Bella Thorne, responded:

Moretz responded again:

And just when you thought things were winding down Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato jumped in on Instagram to mic drop on this whole messy business.

It actually isn’t the first time Bette Midler has been accused of telling young women to put more clothes on, in 2014 she found herself in hot water for saying Ariana Grande looked “ridiculous” partially-clothed in one of her videoclips.

“Maybe they tell them that’s what you’ve got to do. Sex sells. Sex has always sold,” Midler said.

“Trust your talent. You don’t have to make a wh*e out of yourself to get ahead. You really don’t.”

Those two sorted it out, with Midler labelling herself a reformed “wh*re”, but it does make her original joke seem a little less hilarious.

Hopefully they figure it out, I mean, Kim K is pretty ridiculous but she does seems pretty #liberated. ;)
