These 5 women had gone their whole life without seeing their vaginas. Until now.

The women in this video have never seen their vaginas before. Seems kind of strange right? How has an adult woman, never actually seen her own vagina before?

YouTuber Davey Wavey (here’s hoping that’s not his real name otherwise his parents have a lot to answer for) thought so too and that’s why he posted an ad on Craigslist seeking women who fit into this category. Specifically, he wanted to know why had these women never inspected their lady parts.

The video he created show the women discussing the reasons why they’ve never seen ‘down there’ (which ranged from religion, to body image, to dealing with the trauma of sexual assault) and then footage of them being escorted into the ‘Vagina Booth’ where they are given a hand-mirror, and finally take a peek.

The project ultimately proves there is no such thing as a “normal” vagina – and that the power of the vagina should always be celebrated.

Now over to you. Are you in the same boat as these women? Or are you familiar with what’s going on down there?

How utterly bizarre that there are still women around today who have never seen their own parts! Reminds me of that episode in Sex & the City when Charlotte almost faints because she puts a mirror to her genitals.... but that was Charlotte the prude, so no surprise there. I remember as a kid being mesmerized by my vagina, looking at it in a mirror, touching it & being quite amazed. I just assumed every girl had done this at some stage. I also do my own waxing, so I know every part of me quite well!

I agree with Naomi, Anna and Anon...I truly wish people (men and women) would take a course in anatomy and know each part of a woman's anatomy...and I'm a little disappointed that a man has initiated this video.

Are you disappointed a man had to do this becasue a woman hasn't, or becasue a man was involved at all?
I agree with you about the anatomy, how hard is it really?
