Bringing home $19 million, Modern Family star Sofia Vergara has overtaken Kim Kardashian as the highest paid TV actress. But don’t feel too bad for Kim, she still came second at $18 million (that’s, like, at least ten new Prada bags).

We estimate Vergara’s earnings between May 2011 and May 2012 at $19 million, making her the top earning actress on U.S. television.

Just out of interest, when did the kardashians become actresses? I thought they just played themselves on a reality show, "designed" bags and promoted stuff. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Just curious but are their any Community fans here? I never really got that show until I started watching a few eps and omg I think it is the funniest show on tv (which says a lot considering modern family, big bang and 30 rock are faves). Seriously most of the ppl I know who are fans now thought it was meh from just watching one ep but are now obsessed. Ahhh the Dean!
