6 year old hip hoppers, AFL Grand Final fizzer & Virgin chaos. What did you do on the weekend?

The weekend is over and welcome to a new week. Feel free to use this space to share what you got up to or to express your views, news or to upload a picture that sums up your weekend …

The weekend was all about sport with the Collingwood vs St Kilda AFL Grand Final on Saturday, the game which ended in a tie will be replayed again next weekend, the last time this happened was in 1977. Actress Kate Ritchie married Stuart Webb at the remote Quamby Estate in Tasmania and thousands of passengers all over Australia were late to work this morning or had their holiday plans disrupted as Virgin Blue’s check-in software went into meltdown yesterday.

And did you see this 6 year-old hip hop dancer on Ellen…

Had another great weekend. Friday night went out with friends for dinner & drinks. Ended up winning $200 on pokies so we stayed out a LOT longer than expected. Saturday day I recovered from the night before with a long walk and a juice then cleaned the house before meeting my BF for lunch and meeting other friends to get groceries for a house party on Saturday night. Party was very messy and I was blind drunk by midnight. Sunday had brekkie with friends, spent day by the pool and went to dinner party for the evening. Great weekend!

Had a lovely weekend!!! Saw ad for "Porchetta Festival" (Italian festival) in nearby little town of Gunnedah and as my parents live there said to hubby perhaps we should pop our two little boys in the car and go. Had low expectations thinking there would be a bit of salami and some warm red wine!

To my surprise and delight it was awesome. Lovely authentic italian music, wonderful food and wine. Great PR and management. Clean loos, good parking and security. Everyone in celebratory mood. Great games for the kids and face painting. All good value and a truly great day! Only their second year running. Would recommend to anyone in the area next year.

Sunday hubby took our four year old tenpin bowling with another friend and his little boy and I was able to have a rest and relax whilst our 8 month old slept. Caught up on phone with dear friend who have not spoken to since we both had babies 8 months ago. Nice afternoon everyone worn out from starting to build a cubby in the backyard!

Topped off by Monday commencing with a cleaner coming for the first time to help out with the housework. TOTALLY AWESOME!
