Breaking Bachelor news: Sam and Blake split "confirmed".

Update:

Channel Ten has released a statement confirming that Bachelor Blake has ended his relationship with Sam.

Speaking to Sydney Confidential, Network 10 said “Blake has the greatest love and respect for Sam, but has made the difficult decision to end the relationship.”

Ten went on to say:

Network Ten can confirm that Blake and Sam have sadly ended their engagement. When Blake proposed to Sam in South Africa, he did so because he had genuinely fallen in love with her. He was excited to start a life with Sam and was very much looking forward to their future together.”
“Unfortunately, not all relationships are meant to be, and feelings invariably change. Once Blake returned to his everyday life, he realised that they both wanted different things from a relationship and had different priorities.”

Well…no wonder they cancelled interviews.

Bad Bachie.

Following the release of the statement Sam tweeted:

Very bad Bachie…

Mamamia Previously reported:

The Bachelor runner-up Lisa Hyde has spoken out for the first time since last night’s finale aired, denying earlier rumours that she fell pregnant to Blake – and wishing Sam and Blake “all the best in the next chapter of their lives.”

The caption, posted to Instagram at around 9:30 this morning, read in full:

“Wow what an incredible journey that was! Thank you everyone for all your love and support. I can confirm the rumor and I am definitely not pregnant with Blakes baby… Lol I wish Sam and Blake all the best in the next chapter of their lives.”

In breaking Bachie news, the reason for Channel 10’s cancellation of post-finale The Bachelor interviews has been all-but confirmed:  A producer from the show has said that Blake and 25-year-old Sam Frost, to whom he proposed on last night’s finale episode, have reportedly split.

In an exclusive report this morning, Mix 101.1 reported that an anonymous producer texted Jackie O to confirm the couple has broken up.

This from Mix 101.1:

Why?

Well, Sam has been watching the final episodes, and she said she felt betrayed that he had said the same things to the other girls in the lead up to choosing her…

It seems the two only broke up recently as in this Instagram post from three weeks ago, Sam is still seen to be wearing the engagement ring…

A caller phoned in to say the two broke up on Saturday.

Mix 101.1 reports: “According to runner-up Lisa’s friend’s boyfriend, Blake and Lisa are now back in contact… He also mentioned Jess and Blake are talking as well.”

Yesterday, Sam posted this photo – in which she’s conspicuously missing both engagement ring and the necklace Blake gave her on the show – to Instagram.

“Gone a tad darker for Spring,” she captioned the image.

Sam followed up with a photo of her with Lisa, sans Blake.

She captioned that image with the words: “We spent the days running a muck around the house, rolling on the ground laughing until we cried, filming ourselves doing stupid shit on the iPad… Oh man, I couldn’t be happier to be here in this moment with you.”

The report follows news yesterday, just hours before The Bachelor finale aired, Channel 10 cancelled all post-finale interviews with Bachie and his chosen one — sparking rumours that something was amiss. Yesterday afternoon KIIS FM’s Jackie O revealed her scheduled interview was cancelled, writing: “Holy Crap guys, after all this… Bachie could end up single!!”

“Could it be that the honeymoon is over before it’s even begun? Channel 10 has (just now) pulled all interviews with Blake and the winning Bachelorette, which could mean shit’s going down people,” she wrote.

Network Ten didn’t say why it cancelled media appearances for Garvey, Frost and the third finalist Lisa Hyde.

I'm a romantic at heart! I hope and pray that when the dust settles on all the media hype, that Blake will privately get back with Jessica. I dislike how so many are being disturbingly cruel towards Blake.

No one seems to respect the fact that engagement is a trial. At least he was nice enough to break it off quickly.

I always felt that Sam was acting through the series. Did anyone take note that she always spoke slowly as though she was carefully planning every word she said? If something is natural and real people just spit it out without the need to forward think. To put the cherry on top, she never said 'Yes!' to her proposal. She hesitated then came out with'100%', then when he asked again she said the same thing. 100% is not an answer and reaffirmed my suspicion of it all being an act. Most prospective brides would just say 'Yes' if it was what they really wanted.

So I have to conclude that I am proud that Blake had the courage to end it despite the public humiliation and backlash he knew he would get over it.

Please remember readers that Blake is a man, and to err is human.

Oh no, we have all done things in our past especially when we were young that we either laugh at now and wouldn't repeat. nobody can say they have lived perfectly good lives, we have all got mischief in us . I think when Blake finally settles down with a woman he will make a great husband and father. I mean one thing I do know for sure, if I was young I would have never gone on a show like that as I really felt embarrassed for the girls, acting so desperate to get him, just goes to show how hard it is to meet someone naturally, have to be really lucky Jess really put ownership on him, and that would have frightened him off her.It was all a bit rediculos but I did watch the whole lot iI must admit.
